I have the Carolina defense which has performed poorly. Right now I am not happy if I have to start this defense. Problem is there isn't much to pick up and right now I am using the Washington defense. Trying to decide whether to hold on to it or give up on it. What say you guys?

I would keep Dalton.
He might not now, but it's much easier to get him for free now then it is after he takes a bigger role and starts producing (if he ever does of course).

Haha, that team doesn't even look good on paper unless its a standard 14 team league. Especially considering Bell missed 3 weeks.
My good team, while only 4 -3 , has a 50 point lead in total points, and we have a regular season prize for total point leader (money back), and I should make the playoffs, so I'm focusing on that team mostly.
Only real weakness is RB (non-PPR).
QB: Brees/Carr
RB: McCoy, D. Murray, Ajayi, Gillislee, A. Foster (will be dropped)
WR: Hilton, M. Jones, A. Robinson, Dez, T. Montgomery
TE: Graham
D/ST: Seattle
K: Vinatieri
I need to drop A. Foster and pick up a RB. Best waiver options are:
Booker
Jennings
Dion Lewis
Forsett
Thompson
Carey
P. barber
A. Blue
Which RB would you pick up? I like Booker, but I feel like Lewis is a hate to use the cliche "lottery ticket" type back if he comes back and knocks James White from the lineup. But, word is now that Lewis may not even come back from PUP and this league has small benches.
I'd go Booker. Don't see the Giants running game improving anytime soon, Barber doesn't get to play the 49ers again (and Martin should be back soon, no?), Forsett sucks.
Denver would run 35-40 times per game if they given the chance.

It's a weakness because McCoy is now in the GTD mode with his hamstring and probably will remain that way all season. Sunday I started Gillislee and got 2.5 points. With Ajayi on my bench. Between Gillislee and Allen Robinson I was fortunate to pull out a win.

I've been touting Carey for a couple weeks. Howard doesn't really do it for me, Carey is flat out playing better and they trust him the most, IMO. I'll probably put in a claim for him this week as I couldn't fit him on my roster last week.
Reports are Baltimore wanting to give Dixon more touches. He's a potential late season lottery ticket. It was against the Jets front 7 but West had a putrid game. Could be perfect timing to grab Dixon, i'm glad I held on to him.
If you are dying to have a D to hold, keep an eye on the waiver wire. Somebody else will be streaming and dump a team you like. I started the season drafting the Bills in our last round and then streamed a couple of weeks. Somebody else fell in love with a matchup and I ended up with the Cards. Unfortunately, the Bills have been outplaying the Cards this year, but the Cards make me more comfortable.
Dion is out for now on the PUP and could return to active status in the next couple weeks. He is also keepable for an 8th round pick next year. The Eagles have been a very productive D for me this year.
What do you think?
The 8th rounder keeper option is an added bonus.
I'd probably do the trade since I don't think the Eagles D/ST return TD's as sustainable, but I don't know Lewis will be back this year and if he's not I don't know how your keepers work, but I'm not so sure he'd be an attractive keeper missing a season and a half.
In my league, I am allowed to keep 3 players who have keepable status. Currently, I have Spencer Ware, Jerick McKinnon, Stefon Diggs and Andy Dalton who are keepable. Adding Dion would just increase my options, and to keep him, I would only have to sacrifice my 7th round pick. I was mistaken. I lose an earlier pick if he is traded to me.
My current WRs are Evans, Marshall, Crabtree, Dez and Edelman
My current RBs are Crowell, Riddick, Howard, Lewis and yeldon.
Any help would be appreciated. I started 3-0 and now I am 4-3 and I don't want to make any rash decisions.
I have not had a very good season thus far and am sitting at 2-5. Not looking good to finish in the money this year. Looking to the future is probably the wise move from here on out.
Best of luck to you.

Outside of the Giants (and BAL), they don't really face any bad offenses the rest of the way (DALx2, ATL, SEA, GB, CIN, WAS). They've also been somewhat lucky with 3 DST TDs (unpredictable) and have recovered a ridiculous 7 out of 8 forced fumbles (average is ~50% recovery rate). For comparisons sake, the Giants have recovered only 1 out of 5 FFs.
Someone dropped Rawls, should i use my #2 claim on him and hope he returns as the starter at some point. Its full PPR, Not much available on waivers. Could take a stab at Dixon or Perkins, but both have a bye week and my only playable RB's this week are Duke Johnson and Powell, as I lost Lacy, Jennings is on Bye and Coleman is injured.

That is rough. Value-wise, I don't do that trade, but your RB situation is pretty rough. UConn and some of these guys seem high on Booker, so I may make a claim on him in my league. Rawls is probably out at least another 2 weeks, so he isn't going to give any help short term.

YUP 1-6. Worst season ever. Nothing worked out as planned.
In a full PPR Johnson and Powell isn't all that bad (depend on the rest of your roster of course).
I'd look into Thompson if he's available. Matt Jones continues to fumble and sooner or later they are going to flat out bench him. I'm kicking myself for not picking him up this week.
Receive: Jay Ajayi, Allen Robinson, and Gio Bernard.
The only reason I'm considering it is that I have literally zero RB depth going forward.
Yeah he's gonna be out this week it looks like but they are playing GB.
Anyone have a yay or nay on this? I get Baldwin and Freeman and I give Marshall Riddick and Edelman.

Robinson and the whole Jags passing game is a disaster this year. I'm not sure what they can do to improve it at this point.

To me Baldwin is useless. Marshall should be better with Fitz back and "pissed off". If Riddick is ever going to get healthy no way I'd do it.
otherwise you're trading Marshall and Edelman for Freeman.
If you're desperate for RB and have the WR depth do it, but I probably would not do it.
I'd try and get Edelman out of the trade and get Baldwin out too. I'd do Marshall and Riddick for Freeman and see if he bites.
My other QB is Stafford.
I proposed two trades: Rivers and Davis for Booker and Gillisslee, and Rivers and Davis for Booker and Moncrief. I could cancel one of them, but my WR's have also been underperforming.
My Team: PPR
QB: Stafford/Rivers
WR: Green, Jordy, Maclin, Humphries
RB: Lacy (DONE), Coleman (INJ), Jennings (Bye), Powell, and Duke Johnson
TE: Davis, Fiedorowicz, Reed
K: McManus

Really? So are you high on Edelman still? He's been a dud for me. He's getting targets and catches too but very little yards and TDs so I think it's more than just came flow that's hurt him. I'd rather have Baldwin than Edelman. My issue was Marshall's upcoming schedule vs Freeman's upcoming schedule. I think Marshall may outscore Freeman the rest of the way.

Like Gronk, Edelman is getting closer to fully healthy. And with Brady fully back to speed I view Edelman as having a high floor (in ppr leagues). Like Jarvis Landry.
Marshall I'm torn on I'd only trade him if you are desperate at RB. If you wanted to swap Edelman and Marshall I would feel the same, propose it with one, but not both.
I think Edelman, Marshall, and Riddick is too much for Freeman.
Cro Riddick Howard and Lewis. Trying to get Chris Thompson. I don't think I'd do the trade.
Team is 3-4 so I can't really afford to just waive the white flag on this week.
I'll be targeting the following waivers:
1. Big Ben - I'm sure only a waiver in my league, but I'll take injured Ben over Eli with Ryan as my current starter.
2. Devontae Booker - good bench guy in deep leagues and is probably only a CJ Anderson injury away from becoming a RB2 in all formats.
3. Mariota - seems to be a solid fantasy QB as of late to at least keep on your bench
4. Julius Thomas - I think he comes on strong down the stretch.
I only have room for one of the QBs in my list and Booker. I have a decision to make between Thomas and Eifert though. I currently have Doyle and will roll with him as starter for next week, but once Allen comes back I may drop him.
Any gems out there you know of?
