Only ways you start in opponents territory are turnovers, backing the other team toward their goal line and subsequent short punt or a big kickoff or punt return.

The Giants must have had very few of the above (the lack of Giants defense forced turnovers are well known). Collins interception return would have started a drive in an opponent's territory, but he ruined that by scoring a TD.

here in the second half and I think they win ten games, offensive warts and all.

Simple as that. Giants nation and Mcadoo can talk about the play calling for two weeks but what they should be focusing on is the details. Limit the mistakes, win ten games. This team is good enough to win games as long as play smart football.

Take what defenses give us. Let Eli continue to check down and run the ball even if all appears lost. Keep defenses honest with BEckham deep every once in a while and play the short passing game like it's a running game.

NO MORE TURNOVERS. If the Giants aren't giving the opposing team a short field 3-4 times a game and the Giants offense doesn't lose 3-4 drives a game due to a turnover the points and wins will come. It's all seems so simple.

And why McAdoo undoubtedly keeps stressing the same things to his team..It does appear to be quite simple. Easier said than done, I guess

I wouldn't expect the Giants to eliminate the turnovers. That's who they are this year. I would expect the dumb penalties to continue as well.

The one thing we can hope for is health on the defensive side of the ball. That could help win some games.

No improvement in these over final 9 games and we're rooting for a 7-9 / 8-8 team at best.

No because you didn't run three plays. They count as turnovers

Without the running game getting better/being less predictable, I don't see how the team goes anywhere. Short passes can be as good as running game in theory, but a drop here or there and the drive stalls. Just look at Cruz drop on the 2nd series. That kind of thing dooms a team that can't actually run the ball.

Don't you want to add a few more stats?
