Apparently the NFLN reported Anderson was done for the year based on a report by Ian Rappaport. But Anderson apparently is stating the report is false.
I don't have a Twitter account so, i can't post anything from there. Hopefully another poster can help a brother out??
C.J. Anderson (knee) denied a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport saying he had told "people close to him" he was out for the season.
Anderson immediately denied the report, writing, "False," in response to Rapoport's tweet. Anderson is expected to undergo further testing Thursday, and the Broncos are expected to update his status after those tests. Devontae Booker is still expected to get the start this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports C.J. Anderson did not tear his ACL.
Schefter reports the Broncos are expected to update Anderson's status today. He is still expected to miss a few weeks with a bone bruise, but this report suggests he has avoided a season-ending injury. Devontae Booker will be the workhorse while Anderson is sidelined. The rookie is a top-five option at running back this week.

Anderson immediately denied the report, simply writing, "False," in response to Rapoport's tweet. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier Thursday Anderson had avoided an ACL tear, so it would be somewhat surprising if he suffered a season-ending injury. The Broncos are expected to update Anderson's status Thursday afternoon. Oct 27 - 11:15 AM

NBC Denver reports C.J. Anderson's injury is a "significant" right meniscus tear, but that there is "hope" he'll be ready for the playoffs.
The Broncos won't learn the full extent of Anderson's injury until he goes under the knife Thursday. It's quite possible the surgeon discovers something that keeps him out for the rest of the 2016 season. Devontae Booker slides in as an immediate RB1, with Kapri Bibbs becoming the new handcuff in Denver.
