Whats BBI's thoughts on this kid? Ran a nice route on his TD and then turned around later in the game and dropped a big third down catch that could have been a back breaker.
Are we thinking this kid becomes another undrafted gem at wide receiver? or is he a JAG?

to have good rapport with Eli. Obviously, you don't want to see the drops, but at this point, he's getting open better than Cruz.
Look we all love Cruz deservedly so but Victor has had his
fair share of drops and he rarely gets behind the defense
anymore . It may be a blessing in disguise ..
The drop was in a very key situation but if you take into
account the number of attempts that have gone Lewis's way
and the fact that he is a very good gunner on special
teams whats not to like about this kid .
Anybody?
Anybody?
Lewis was in for Beckham while he was hurt
Hope he continues to develop, it would be nice to have some insurance against injury to Beckham, Cruz, or Shepard
Bad drop yesterday but for an undrafted FA he's made a nice impact.
What the Giants have is a very good #3 WR with upside...
Not enough playing time to know whether the hands are a problem or an outlier.
Bingo. And at times he is wide open! Cruz I hope is ok because he is clutch but Lewis might be a player better suited to complement obj on the outside. (That does not mean I think Lewis Jr. is as talented as Cruz I just think Cruz is not an ideal outside WR)
Anybody?
Harris is an excellent blocking WR. They brought him in as a blocking WR in three WR sets for Perkins to run the ball in the 4 minute offense.

I noticed Harris on the field towards the end which was a surprise...did Lewis get "benched" b/c these drops?

This. They did this last game too.
I know I rather see him than Harris, boy he sucks this year!
I think Rainey should return kicks, just let Harris return
punts, don't trust Rainey fielding punts.

to me that is most important right now.

He beat press coverage on one play. Looks to be a physical receiver and I agree that is something that has been missing from this offense.
Jury's still out

Seriously, I think it is too early to tell. Accept for the two drops yesterday, he has done well in his limited role (played way less minutes than Cruz, but I believe he has more TDs than Cruz).
Yeah I know get off my lawn.

Used to drop a lot of balls (when they first got to the NFL) ?
They both WORKED hard and got over it.
Lewis, I think has that "something" (not just speed or route running), that lets him get open. The last Giants player like him (with less speed than Lewis) was Mario Manningham.
He made tough catches. That drop was unbelievable.
Eli said he should have jumped. He dropped another
few plays later. He is going to be a deep threat and that will
free up everyone else. If Cruz misses time he will be in
mix Monday. Those 2 drops hurt.Like to see Adams TE also
get more passes.
He had a rough game yesterday, but overall looks like a promising player with a lot of athleticism. Let's calm down - drops happen.
He's still got a lot to prove.
Yeah I know get off my lawn.
No, you have a point. His TD dances come off as a piss poor Beckham imitation, and I strongly dislike the original source material from Beckham to begin with.

Thanks guys. Good call
Pro Day numbers, while not phenomenal, put him in the pre-injury Cruz class of athleticism.
Which better represents Lewis?
