like the way the rebuilt defense is coming along. That unit is going to have a strong game today. Likely could win it on its own, defensive scores, short field off turnovers etc. I do not think it will come to that as the Giants should be able to move the ball as well.
There are no easy games in the NFL, but the Giants should take care of business today
With the same sense of urgency as if they were play Dallas, Washington, or Philly. I'm an odds person and the Browns are due. Damn I wish they have had won a game or two.
I don't follow...This is by any measure the easiest game on the Giants schedule... to label this as a very tough game is laughable... I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude...but c'mon. In what way is this a tough game? The Giants are playing the worst team in the league, by a longshot!

playing a team that has zero wins this late in the season is always trouble...
all the pressure is on the giants, the browns are going to try every trick in the book to win this game..

They have lost their last three by 25, 21 and 15 points. There is no pressure in this game. Take care of business and win comfortably. Giants win going away.
by a combined 61 points. Let's stop quaking in our boots.
If you are into statistics, that would mean they are do for a much closer game. NFL teams rarely roll over easy.
He saying the Browns are the worst team in the league, pathetic. Why would the Giants or any other team in the NFL be worried about playing the Browns? Who would you rather the Giants play, that would be less of a threat?
about predictions for the rest of the season,
I won't go there. Lets try one for this game, 28-20, G-Men!
No turning the ball over against this team, don't sleepwalk
thru the first half. I felt they did a little of that last week against the Bears.
RE: RE: The Browns have lost their last three games
But the realist in me says this team is probably incapable of blowing anyone out - they had a close call against a depleted Chicago team at home that at this point probably isn't much better than Cleveland.
This game will be close.
I have a feeling Collins and JJ both get picks today
as the only victory for the Cleveland Browns in 2016. SI's reasoning is that the Giants invariably play down to their competition, and we have a history of losing games that should never be lost. NY sportswriters are fantasizing about the Giants in the SB this year. I don't see it. The Giants narrowly won last week against a supposedly "awful" Bears team, and the Browns are not a team with zero talent. Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson are good running backs and Terrelle Pryor is a tall, talented receiver. The Giants need to play hard for sixty minutes, or this game could undo a winning season (not a SB season), but a winning season.
They may win a game this year, who knows? But it will not be today. If they do happen to win this year, it will be against a team that has already been eliminated from the post season. I have not looked at their remaining schedule.
Any team that has something to play for will be much more motivated than the sad sack Browns.
Is sadly looking like another not so good pick hopefully
Owa gets it going at some point in time .
I was going to Post about LD being active and him contributing
something positive as Eli needs all the help he can get but
didn't feel like getting my head bashed in for even saying
his name ...

I agree. Donnell could be a contributor. Today especially. If we're going to take a risk, might as well be against the Browns.
Walt Anderson's crew will be officiating the Giants game. Statistically they've favored home teams -- and his crew was responsible for the Seattle-Buffalo FG before the half fiasco.
Giants need to get on them early and take the game out of the refs hands.
don't know why anyone thinks this or any other game we play will be a blowout win for the Giants. We haven't beaten anyone by more than seven points, and have only scored four more points than our opponents. We also have a -7 turnover differential, and are last or next to last in rushing. Our OL is also missing three players.
The Browns have a good TE, and we can't cover those players. They also have some speed at WR, and were ahead of the Ravens 20-0 at one point. As someone said, they were also down only one score to the Steelers late in the game last week. At some point, they're going to win a game. It's hard to lose every game in the NFL.
I think we'll win, but it will be another close, low scoring affair. We have to again rely on Eli and the defense. 20-13.

Giants D can make a statement. Tight coverage and pressure does wonders.

That's not statistics...it's the gambler's fallacy.
they tended to come out flat
it will be interesting to see how Mcadoo has them prepared for this game
This game will be close.

The Browns stink.

don't make this your hot game..
"Down Goes McCown down goes McCown "
We just need a solid game from our O-line with the way our defense playing we should beat them by 10 or more .
Browns 3
Guess RT is putting JB on the hot seat for his spot. Look for RT today.

...I just can't see this team throwing their NY helmet on the turf and walking all over this Browns team.
It's gonna be a hard fought battle and the outcome is far from certain!
GO GIANTS.
