While I think it's disappointing that a 3rd pick is a healthy inactive, he and Thomas have different functions on the DL. Bromley has shown flashes on rare occasions but a 3rd round pick in his 3rd year should be a regular part of the rotation at a minimum
and Bromley a healthy scratch, tells me that the Giants are going to concentrate on stopping the Brown's running game which is mostly inside the tackles. Thomas, like Snacks, is a run stopper. It looks as if they do not think much of McGowen's passing.
Look to see if we are successful in stuffing the run in the first quarter, leaving it up to our outstanding DBs to stop the pass. If we can do this early on, we will make the Brown's attack one dimensional and be able to unleash our pass rushers earlier than usual.
of coughlin no longer being HC is that we will likely see far fewer marginal Syracuse and BC players selected in the draft due to coughlin's bias for these programs (ego). i have little doubt bromley was a coughlin special, as was andre williams. maybe the same with pugh, who to this point has underachieved relative to his draft status.
I think it would be a good idea if Jerry Reese would defer to someone else making his 3rd round selection in the draft. Has ANY of his 3rd round picks even a had mediocre career?

If you think Pugh has underachieved, it's pretty clear you have no idea of what to expect from a first round pick. Posts should be made to educate, not reveal your own need for education.
Donnell may be active in case adams has to play on on the OL. with beatty and McDermott as our only backups.... I would assume adams would be the emergency backup.

Never has been, never will be. An inexplicable reach at the time, everyone said it, including Bromley himself said he was shocked he got picked in the 3rd round. They saw the sack numbers he had in his last year and they overvalued the fuck out of him.
Same goes for Owa unless he starts to show more than he has
add Prince into the equation its a wonder why we had to break
the Bank for the Best FA available .
Owa looks the part I am hopeful it starts to show on game
day .

He showed something extra last week. I hope he continues to build on that.

Many thought that Bromley was huge reach in that draft with the third pick or at all. So Guess they were right.
knows that until the last year, Reese was mostly responsible for first round draft, and after that the coaches had increasing say. the results were rather meh, and this past year, Reese took more control over the entire draft.
the buck stops at Reese, but if you want to beef, aim it at Coughlin and his staff, because they're the ones who were driving when it came to all these failed draft picks. First round has been mostly good under Reese.

Manningham? It's debatable. However I'd still take that one catch for an entire healthy career.
pugh was drafted with the idea that he would be a right tackle. he is currently a left guard who can't stay on the field consistently, on one of the worst OL's in the league. i don't think it's a stretch to say that some (clearly not all) fans were hoping for a bit more. and this is coming from someone who likes pugh.

as a player, but i don't think he's worth a big contract, and he's missed time each of the last three seasons. it's not to the level of geoff schwarz or david baas and of course it's been worse this season than the last two, and now with the setback. i'm not saying he's a bad guard, i just don't think he's dominant and i can't see the giants throwing big money at him.
Victor Cruz/Roger Lewis big day?

Not good for Bromley at all, as far as his value to the team, unless he is hurt.
I guess Beatty is going to be the TE in jumbo packages...

+2.

How is that not being consistently on the field?
