great field position and they lay a egg on offense and kick a terrible punt to leave the Browns with good field position. Beckham is done for the day already it looks like too. WTF?

yeah but when you're upper class (like myself) and you see a team that has a fucking 0-11 record, you should be blowing them out. Or is that not simple enough to figure out? What kind of team is this where we 'expect" or "worry about not expecting" to to blow out a team that has ZERO wins?
but I think starting this off season the Giants need to start looking for his replacement. He is STILL 13 years later SOOO inconsistant. He looks like total dogshit today and we ALL know its just a matter of time before the defense falls apart and gives up points.
We clearly miss Plax and Toomers ability to block!
Yea this was an aspect I was way off on with predictions. I called BBKL and said we should get long runs here and there due to OBJ, Cruz, and Shep being willing blockers in the run game. My bad.
that should make the playoffs. Shouldn't we be in control of this game? Beyond the oline issues can we actually throw the football beyond 10 yards and with accuracy?
You know, the Browns get paid to play football too.
He has been consistently off target on deep passes and it used to be a strength. He's never thrown the tightest spiral, but this has been an issue all year. Dam...

hurt. Hand or wrist. The run blocking is nonexistent. I'd use Perkins more. At least he has some shiftiness. If they stay with Jennings, then use an extra blocker.
Have some talent on D but they're young and struggle as a unit. This offense just is confounding and disappointing sometimes. Very poor in sustaining drives this year and showing new struggles with getting rythym early in games.
This is the issue I have always had with blaming the run issues entirely on the OL. Jennings is one of the slowest RBs I seen in some time, who doesn't even try to break outside. Running screen plays for him is a waste of time because it takes to long for him to get to the area.
Eli missed some passes. ODB interfered with. Could have looked better. I like the mid-range passes. Overall, however, this is Dan Reeves Giants football.
We always play down to the level of inferior opposition
hate that call. Who wasn't expecting that we would try and run Jennings right into the LOS on third and one? So that's of course exactly what we did. No fake. No end around. The Browns looked like they had eight in the box. Idiotic. Why do McAdoo and Eli keep doing that on third and short?

looking for PI on that. That's my biggest pet peeve of most receivers. Always jumping up looking for the flag. Just get back to the huddle. It'll be called if the refs see it. What else can you do?
Now get some points Eli! How about dropping one over OBJs shoulder, nice a soft so not to hurt his sore thumb, hit him on the run and into the endzone for a TD!
Is the reason we're even in this game 1/3 of the way in. I hope we can score at least 10 points, but with this "West Coast" play calling, it might not happen.

Are struggling on offense?? Is this something new? Its Mcadoo's offense, It has been shitty for awile now.
I think some didn't want to admit it. They look at how many yards the Giants put up last two seasons. Only a few people acknowledged that the offense seem to pick up when OBJ was added to the roster.
This will be interesting to see how this offense reacts to him not being out on the field now.
It's 0-0 in the 2nd quarter, their defense is decent, our offense has struggled all season. Is it really that awful? You can't just look at the Browns 0-11 record and think this was going to be a cake walk.

They can't score against the worst team in the league, starting at midfield..
At least the skins or eagles might make the playoffs interesting. This is the worst offense I've seen in years. This offense line would struggle in the little league! Flowers needs to be cut, this must be a record on holds now.
Browns are smartly playing their safeties back. Our run game is atrocious, and we now have a banged up OL. We also have no TE who can threaten the seem. Leave Adams into block, use Perkins, and hope that Lewis and Shepard can get free.
this really is the craziest 7-3 team i've ever seen
Giants or otherwise. it just never feels comfortable, never really putting their foot on a team's throat. and here we are scoreless thru 1.5 qtrs with an 0-11 team.

Conservative third down call against the 31st ranked defense. Great
McAdoo, Sullivan, Eli. I continue to question the dynamic here with this trio in terms of game plan, playcalls, adjustments. Just a total nosedive on offense this year.

And scoring has come so easy to us all year? Cmon
We haven't played the worst team in the league all year..
Either we catch it, or we luck out with a PI, or they intercept it near the goal line, or it's incomplete. All four results are better than a run to nowhere.

From drafting Cam Robinson if he's available in the draft. How do you spell bust? Flowers.
Move him to RT, where he belongs, and he'll do well.
I'd prefer RG. Hart has done well. Put Flowers in to maul at the RG spot. Maybe we'll have a power run game yet.
My thinking as well. He might be a good force to help plug up the middle and help from big DTs from getting so much push into and up the middle. Flowers can't handle speed guys wide off the edge and he can't handle guys who can spot and exploit sloppy footwork and hand technique (a la Flowers).

You suck. Literally the worst poster on this site. Fly Eagles Fly, right?
Eat my ass, cock sucker. I've forgotten more about the NYG than you'll ever know. I've been right much more than I've been wrong with regards to this team. What the fuck do you contribute to this site? That's right: NOTHING.
It looked live to be really close and it definitely looked like one on the replay. Given where we would have gotten the all, it was almost a no brainer.
Anyone who thinks this is a playoff team only needs to look at the roster this moron assembled.
The only reason why this won't be a playoff team (while the other 3 teams in the East very likely will be) is the OL, precisely as I astutely said back in early May. The rest of the roster is actually pretty good.
We were about to get the ball back and we had some momentum!
There were two critical errors, Rainey and someone on our coaching staff who decided not to challenge. If it is the guy upstairs or McAdoo, the only replay I saw said challenge
between Small Balls Ben and Clueless Hue. What earthly reason does an 0-11 team have to kick a FG on their own goal line against and offense that hasn't done much?
In what world is a player that has always been cut somehow considered a play maker. Listen I don't want to rehash pre season stuff but man between the Rainey and Darkwa hype.
But...but... he can catch the ball and play specials.
he is an animal and never is off the field. I hope some the Giants can step on this team's throat early so some other linemen can play on D and keep these horses fresh

They "let" them drive by having an INT not called and a BS hold.
That was a pick by Eli Apple, they didn't even fucking review it. This league is fucking garbage. It's officiated by a bunch of fucking imbeciles. I'm fucking fuming right now.

I feel bad for the kid. He has a borderline call called on him and then comes back for a huge pick despite getting a personal foul on him during the process of catching it, and he has nothing to show for it.

First time on the game threads. Not sure if these people are fans of other teams or just salty about life.
We could have challenged it. Dont blame the refs for calling him out initially.
Every turnover is supposed to be reviewed - what happened is the refs screwed us by calling it incomplete. Still should've been reviewed but McAdoo was likely told not to challenge.

I don't think McAdoo could challenge it, it needed to be a booth review. Unless the rules have changed.
constantly blaming the refs for calls or non calls. We are playing against the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE! A call here or there should not matter. We should be dominating on the line of scrimmage and we aren't. We should be making simple plays and moving the chains and we aren't. Our defense should be smothering their sub par offense and they aren't.
Now, let's see what this team puts on the field in the second half.
team is inconsistent on offense and poor on ST. Some of that is the mismatched OL, which will hopefully improve next week. But we haven't run the ball well at all this year. The D has been great. JPP is ridiculous.
RE: Mike Pereira's pissant response on catch by Apple:
You have to get both feet down. Hitting the toes first doesn't help if the heel comes down out of bounds in the process of that same foot coming down. You guys are confusing this play with plays where the receivers taps the toes and then takes another step or short jump.
I guarantee you no one on the giants will complain about that call after the game.
RE: RE: Mike Pereira's pissant response on catch by Apple:
Mike Pereira @MikePereira 9m9 minutes ago
On the interception in Cleveland, in the natural stepping motion the whole foot has to come down in bounds.
He can shove the rule book up his ass.
Toe taps?? Pereira is an empty suit.
An ass face full of hot air. I hope he gets paid bank to sell his soul to be an apologist for the worst run officiating program in all of major sports.
RE: You know you have a whole bunch of fucking nonsense in the rulebook
Stockton: Browns trying not to become the second team to go 0-16 since the Lions. Matt you had your hand in that. You didn't see the end of it, but you saw a lot of it.
Than he is a GM? I didn't think it was possible for him to be as bad at anything as he was as a GM but he's proved me wrong.
He's awful, he and Stockton are going on and on after the 3rd down hold and don't notice the flag at all. And in the end zone Pryor initiates the contact!
On the Apple play.
I thought I was a being a homer on my comment after I posted it.
Remember, this is the WAnderson crew. They have been more silent than usual, and, you know their love for the Giants.
Why does he play over DRC? At this stage of their careers you can't compare them. Apple gets beat too often and is a penalty waiting to happen as he doesn't locate the ball well. Is DRC injured?

So that's a catch for a receiver but not an INT for the CB? That's bullshit!
I disagree that the PI call on Apple was borderline, pretty clearly grabbed the receiver before the ball arrived, and the non-PI on the pass to Odell at the far sideline in Q1 did look borderline, to me, in addition not at all clear he could have caught it and landed in bounds, even w/o the contact.
Tough luck on the non-interception, and I've never heard the Perreira interpretation before--that means a toe touch (when the other foot has come down) is not considered?
The Giants played a pretty darn shitty and sloppy first half. This team w/o OBJ would be Browns-like in its futility, and they're often unwatchable on O as it is. Wade truly does suck, and I don't know what to make of Flowers.
I agree with eclipz's comment: on that call, if his arms aren't so outstretched as the DE is going down, probably not called.
It is insane having OBJ back there. Is there a reason Harris is not back there other than the fumble last week? I know people have hinted he maybe hurt a bit. But he is playing in the game and while he has struggled this year, I would much rather have him back there than risk OBj.
ARTICLE 7. PLAYER POSSESSION.
Item 1. Player in Possession. A player is in possession when he is inbounds and has a firm grip and control of the ball with his
hands or arms.
Item 2. Possession of Loose Ball. To gain possession of a loose ball that has been caught, intercepted, or recovered, a player
must have complete control of the ball and have both feet or any other part of his body, other than his hands, completely on the
ground inbounds, and then maintain control of the ball long enough to become a runner. A player has the ball long enough to
clearly become a runner when, after his second foot is on the ground, he is capable of avoiding or warding off impending contact
of an opponent, tucking the ball away, turning up field, or taking additional steps. If the player loses the ball while simultaneously
touching both feet or any other part of his body to the ground, there is no possession. This rule applies in the field of play and in
the end zone.
bad plays. RB hit in the backfield. A middle screen that could have been intercepted, which went for no gain. And a third down run that had no chance of gaining the first down.
play calling needs to account for the fact that the run blocking is poor. Use Perkins more. Run wide. Flanker screens. Something besides just running up the middle with Jennings. For a guy who goes for it regularly on fourth down, McAdoo is very predictable on first down.
Eli may have checked out of the original play that was called. We will never know
That and people don't get our defense has been playing well. So it's a game of field position. Why put Eli in apeople position to get a turnover? People need to understand how the game is unfolding.

But those are the same people who thought the game was over at the end of the first quarter, so. That's not likely
whether the offense will ever un-fuck themselves this year. i mean this is game # 11 and we're playing a winless team...and yet we have 2 scores off of (1) a short field and (2) 1 big play
how the hell can we not sustain - let alone build - a drive??
i don't wanna hear about the OL either. Eli has not been under duress.
I mean Wtf is wrong with these specials!? How hard is it to see how that you're blocking someone in the freaking back? If you see his numbers on his back, your wrong!

Because you don't concede a possession to the 31st ranked defense in football and you don't play scared against the Browns. If our coach doesn't trust our offense in that situation it speaks volumes about what he thinks of our offense's capabilities
I actually think Cleveland is playing the game smart. They just aren't executing. But they are rightly keeping their safeties back, daring us to run. They know we are last or next to last in rushing, a problem that is exacerbated by our banged up OL.
On offense, they are throwing to Pryor on deep crossing routes at the second level. They know that our LBs can't drop into coverage.
take a look at the play calling between Jackson and McAdoo. It's no shame to admit that Jackson is a superior play caller. He doesn't have the talent to go with it.

I think Ben M has been doing great this game. He is going to pull a Kevin G. And have Eli throw deep on 3rd and 21 which adds an INT onto Elis column
Did you guys happen to catch that call on Perkins before commercial? Holy shit, he pushed him from the side! That was NOT in the back. The NFL is getting unwatchable
Idc about potential injuries...Antonio brown does both just fine.
While the Steelers obviously don't want Brown hurt, they have a few other weapons on offense (including best runner in FB), so the risk over a season might be worth reward. If Beckham gets hurt, we won't have much of an offense.
For some period of plays because he is nicked up. Credit to him for returning but it's insanity to me to lost him for any period because of kick returning duties.
can't do a damn thing. WCO is supposed to be all about quick hits and timing and rhythm. we've lacked all 3 for the better part of nearly 3 months now.
am beginning to think that Eli has lost some arm strength. He's had problems with underthrows all year. But the real problem is the endless insistence on running into the line.
Our last five games are going to be very ugly if we don't improve. Our offense is beyond awful. We have a great receiver, a fading quarterback and nothing else.
Gonna go toe to toe with the redskins or Cowboys offenses? This bullshit is gonna get us laughed off the field. Our defense can hold back teams like the Browns and Bears but they can only do so much against good teams. We're just not ready to hang yet with the big boys.
The shallow cross to Shepard has been there all game. Also somewhat surprised we wouldn't try some misdirection since we've shown nothing but vanilla predictability so far.
after play is over - no call, followed by a phantom holding on Herzlich. Nice job refs.
Thomas was shoved into him def not on purpose. The holding call was correct. If your knocked down to the ground you can't drag the player down with you. That's a hold.
in one game? AT some point, we have to blame Eli for his decision making...not just the bad throws. This is just ridiculous. We cannot even get a first down.
The Browns! And not even a FG. 3 and out, again. This McAdoo system of "just doing enough to win" sucks when comapared to being able to dictate the play against an 0-11 team.
how they use OBJ on offense.
As a fan i now watch the offense just angry. Its the worst use of talent i have ever seen.
And it makes no sense. Whether its coach, QB, both, neither... i dont care who it is but fcking put the guy in the position to get the ball. And maybe... just maybe go downfield with him and dont just use him for a decoy.
if your offense is stalling for this long, why don't you get the ball into the your best players hands?!!?(bubble screen, pick play, quick slant, SOMETHING) It's mind boggling. We go 5 or 6 possessions straight without even looking OBJ's way. I don't understand.
that punt return came back due to the hold, it shows that he needs the ball in his hand when we can't get going..You have a weapon, find a way to get him the ball.

We need to bring in a bunch of kickers this week. Cannot go another game with this POS. Too bad we didn't keep one of the young kickers that we let go.
but you know we have to worry about paying all these other players on the roster in a few years, even if we blow our chances of winning another Super Bowl. And he is 28 years old. If he wants Vernon type money then let him walk.
We can replace him in the draft. What do we have, three of the first top ten picks in the first round?"
you go. TD Browns. Right back in it, more so because Gould missed the XP. Can't blame the D. They have gotten no support from the O all day. They're tired.
Don't blame them. They are exhausted. YOu can tell. They scored and had to come right back on the field. Offense should donate their game checks if the Giants win this game.
wobbly duck down field and then a pass short of the line to gain then punt or two runs for not much then a pass short of the line to gain or bomb then punt?
It's not quite there, but is ALMOST like listening to your drunken uncle doing color commentating after waking up from his post-Thanksgiving dinner food coma.

Don't do themselves favors by playing offense this way with leads. Defense was great again today. Maddening they just become so stale and predictable at stretches on o.
Ravens snap to punter. OL holds entire Bengals DL. Punter runs around until time expires and then steps out of endzone. Flags everywhere. Benglas couldn't block the kick or make a tackle. Time expires, 2 point safety and no extension of play. Game over.
JPP filling up the stat sheet. Yeah that's another sack
For a blowhard like him, having the 0-16 Lions be on him you'd think would keep him in check.
Like, you could literally pick a grandmother off the street fresh from Egypt who never saw a game of football in her life and she wouldn't do worse than Matt Millen at putting together a team.
Defense has been playing very well and getting better.....
there's still mental lapses at time, however, they've played extremely well given he circumstances and the fact that they are on the field so much. The offense needs to get better. Run blocking has been horrendous and the play calling too. They have to figure this out if they are to get into the dance. That's the only way they will get to where they need to be.

That is fantastic coaching. Taking a safety is smart in some situations.
Big faith today!
Also, Rainey was back to return... interesting.
Yeah. Happens all the time to Jennings. I don't know why.
Unless beckham is hurting running to the locker room.
OBJ with a hammy already?
Biggest knee jerk reaction post ever?
How do they go from pretty damn good last year to the crap they have this year?!
Come on Eli!
He's had one drive?!
No once the Browns touched it first the worse that could happen is getting the ball at the spot of the touch
Found the troll
It's a no lose situation once a Brown player touches it
Even if the Giants fumble and the Browns recover, the Giants get the ball at the spot it was touched by the Browns

Hopefully he gets hot soon.

How about another first down instead?
Your expectations... you might want to adjust them. Have you not seen how we've won games this year?

That was Millen. Also a dbag.
No, but I'm concerned 13 is hurt.
normally you would consider that but it is like watching the same "this is all we got on offense" every week.
Or a defender bent his finger trying to strip the ball
Nice play by Tye to break the tackle.
I don't know how anyone can entertain Super Bowl talk for a team whose offense looks like this so often.

Doesn't matter who you're playing when your offensive line is in the shape ours is. It's going to be a struggle.
Pretty much validates your belief that Richburg isn't the long term answer at C, no?
Giants suck with situational football this year.
It just trying to out think everyone else. Seriously, play calling has been an issue this year but it is the HC making the calls so...
Rookies are infiltrating.
Because it was worth a shot to try to get a flag. Most receivers do it.
I love Carl Banks. He tells it like it is.

Coincides with an awful game so far.
Need the D to score here.

Yes. Worst offensive performance of the year.

Only bright spot on offense outside of Jennings and Perkins getting some plays. Every one on OL and at WR and QB is doing Awful.
About as perfect a first series one could ask for. Used the complete arsenal and was very impressive. Have not seen that since that game

It's 0-0 in the 2nd quarter, their defense is decent, our offense has struggled all season. Is it really that awful? You can't just look at the Browns 0-11 record and think this was going to be a cake walk.
They can't score against the worst team in the league, starting at midfield..
And scoring has come so easy to us all year? Cmon
Just get the win. Ugly or otherwise.
Not sure we'd get the 3 on this showing.
McAdoo, Sullivan, Eli. I continue to question the dynamic here with this trio in terms of game plan, playcalls, adjustments. Just a total nosedive on offense this year.

When the ball lands on the sideline, or there about, it can.
I would have preferred that.
Move him to RT, where he belongs, and he'll do well.
That's what I just said. Ha.

that series was a waste. Flowers still having trouble with speed rushers.
Is Nassib really a speed rusher? He just beat him and Flowers had to grab him. Terrible technique by him.
I think so. But it was also terrible technique by Flowers.
You sir, are a buffoon.
The offense looks weak and worthless.
He's improved this year, but still has his problems and I'm not sure they'll get corrected. Maybe he's not a LT?! Off-season discussion for the staff.

From drafting Cam Robinson if he's available in the draft. How do you spell bust? Flowers.

I'd prefer RG. Hart has done well. Put Flowers in to maul at the RG spot. Maybe we'll have a power run game yet.
You suck. Literally the worst poster on this site. Fly Eagles Fly, right?
With basic execution the Giants have at least 2 TDs
Yep.
Let's go!
Three-and-out time, defense!!
Except Plax was wide open.
Excellent catch by Harris!
Excellent catch by Harris!
Better throw.
What happened to the first 3 WR
Three-and-out time, defense!!
He's a veteran, experienced guy and has good speed and average hands. He's a nice option though.
SMH.

Another buffoon.
You're in the Top 3 of worst posters on this site. Just awful. Everything you post. Awful.

I was thinking more about the pre-snap read and execution. Plax just threw a move on the DB to get wide open.
SMH.
They just had two nice pass plays. Smile!!
I like Adams as a safety more. Berhe is probably our worst S in coverage.

My thinking as well. He might be a good force to help plug up the middle and help from big DTs from getting so much push into and up the middle. Flowers can't handle speed guys wide off the edge and he can't handle guys who can spot and exploit sloppy footwork and hand technique (a la Flowers).

Why isn't Harris there.
But he is one of the Giants playmakers not just OBJ remember.
How do know that the guys upstairs said don't challenge?
So much for prosperity
I know this is sacrilegious, but I miss Randle. At least he fair caught the ball.
Don't want to see him on the field ever again.
Anyone who thinks you are a Giants fan needs their head examined
The only reason why this won't be a playoff team (while the other 3 teams in the East very likely will be) is the OL, precisely as I astutely said back in early May. The rest of the roster is actually pretty good.
There were two critical errors, Rainey and someone on our coaching staff who decided not to challenge. If it is the guy upstairs or McAdoo, the only replay I saw said challenge
Using Harris as a WR so I guess they don't want to risk injury. They should just have him stand back there and fair catch everything
Can we please STOP the conversations about how we matchup against Dallas and Washington?
So if they make the playoffs who is the moron?
I think one of the beats said around 365 days ago.
oh yeah we were totally dominating until Rainey fumbled. LOL
One of the most ridiculous quotes to come out of this season.

What's that? He can't hear you. He just intercepted the ball.
Can't, its inside 2 min
They can't. Under 2 minutes
It's too close, you know they'll never overturn that.

No he didn't. Out of bounds.
On the other side EA had possession when he had both feet in, no?
he is an animal and never is off the field. I hope some the Giants can step on this team's throat early so some other linemen can play on D and keep these horses fresh
One heel = three thumbs.
McAdoo even burned a TO to rescue the refs.
Hope for the review that never came
2. Wade gives CLE a free first down
pretty clear weak link on this defense. sigh.
It was a clear hold. What exactly are the refs giving them? Wade blows pure and simple. That hold was what you would see in high school.
Reffed in this drive
Ha! Good call.
calm down.

You can't challenge inside 2:00.
On the interception in Cleveland, in the natural stepping motion the whole foot has to come down in bounds.
He can shove the rule book up his ass.

Every turnover is supposed to be reviewed - what happened is the refs screwed us by calling it incomplete. Still should've been reviewed but McAdoo was likely told not to challenge.

I don't think McAdoo could challenge it, it needed to be a booth review. Unless the rules have changed.

LOFL!!!! Emasculated.
He's awful, he and Stockton are going on and on after the 3rd down hold and don't notice the flag at all. And in the end zone Pryor initiates the contact!
I thought I was a being a homer on my comment after I posted it.
Remember, this is the WAnderson crew. They have been more silent than usual, and, you know their love for the Giants.
I guarantee you no one on the giants will complain about that call after the game.
So that's a catch for a receiver but not an INT for the CB? That's bullshit!
Got it.
Fucking bullshit. A catch used to be called if a receiver would have come down in the field of play but was shoved out. This is so ridiculous
How do you explain a completion when a WR drags his toe?
The tips of his toes came down before the heel was out. In real time, no, it didnt look like an INT.
Ref's fault again?
Quote:

And have been all year. That's why they're 25th, and we're 31st.
Check outside- is the sky falling? Good lord.
Wow are you freaking doom and gloom on every freaking post.
Lol!
Wasn't half the reason we drafted OBJ was because of his dynamic return abilities?
Quote:
what happened to Harris...?
Wasn't half the reason we drafted OBJ was because of his dynamic return abilities?
LOL, no.
Then it's time to cut Rainey after the game.
Those are some massive children
+1,000,000
thankfully the Browns just Browns'd on the punt

Because you don't concede a possession to the 31st ranked defense in football and you don't play scared against the Browns. If our coach doesn't trust our offense in that situation it speaks volumes about what he thinks of our offense's capabilities
I actually think Cleveland is playing the game smart. They just aren't executing. But they are rightly keeping their safeties back, daring us to run. They know we are last or next to last in rushing, a problem that is exacerbated by our banged up OL.
On offense, they are throwing to Pryor on deep crossing routes at the second level. They know that our LBs can't drop into coverage.
Apple was not a penalty. He grazed him at best.

I think Ben M has been doing great this game. He is going to pull a Kevin G. And have Eli throw deep on 3rd and 21 which adds an INT onto Elis column
Valuable yes. Fragile? I don't see that
Because he's been a horrible judge of punt returns this year. Field position almost cost us last week, especially on the fumble.
While the Steelers obviously don't want Brown hurt, they have a few other weapons on offense (including best runner in FB), so the risk over a season might be worth reward. If Beckham gets hurt, we won't have much of an offense.
toss deep or run a draw.
Eli was lucky that wasn't picked. We can't throw a screen. At all.
The first down pass was underthrown. I also didn't like the second down run into the LOS. Throw again.
It's the master plan..
runs up middle when changes play.
Throw dam ball long. He cant throw a screen.
and yet, this offense has looked awful today
the offense looks like shit for large portions of the game every week
Someone send some positive thoughts - we're up by a score.
FROM THE FUCKING BOTTOM
I can't give the Giants offense and ST that much credit.
No room for error in the defense at all.
Collins was stiff armed and Crowell got 8 yards out of it...huh?

Yeah, and so is our run game, so they match up well :)

OL pass blocking has not nearly been as bad as some are insinuating. the offense has just been ultra vanilla and lacks rhythm.
our 2 scores are the result of 2 plays:
1. long TD to Harris (obviously)
2. long pass to Cruz
otherwise very very little...it's pathetic
5% goes your average 3-4 yards
5% go for 5+ yards
Can't get anything done on offense that way.
We need to change up our tendencies and execute better. One missed block ruins a whole play.
They are badly coach. No creativity on offense
They're not going to speed it up, either, because they are playing conservative with the lead.
Get aggressive.
That's because of their 3 and outs and Wing ain't helping matters. Credit the D for holding. SMH.
0 forShep
Wake up offense!!!!
Good point. His WC plays have resulted in one field-length drive in 43 mins.
Crispino, LOL
It's a combination... They all take turns (players & McAdoo) at sucking more often than not
Too many 3 and outs on our part! Need the running game.
can we build a goddamn drive? once?
Almost enough individual effort by Jennings.
No way.
This......what happened to the TEs today?
Nice game for Wing so far.
but this has been brutal. really piss poor effort by the offense in general.
the ball was still thrown out of bounds...
lol - they have 6 points
Preferably for 6.
He's brought the pressure. Players just don't get home.
but this has been brutal. really piss poor effort by the offense in general.
No they won't, he never get the benefit of the doubt.
It's ok to do to loosen up the coverage, but on 2 and long? If you don't make it, you've got 3rd And long and a small % for success.
Like OJ Anderson, maybe.
And this formation is growing tiresome. Before long every defense will understand all the threats from the one formation.
Eli has made 2 throws all game. The deep ball to Cruz and the TD to Harris. The rest of his passes have been awful (or check downs)
Who else scares anybody? Cruz struggles with separation, and we don't have a TE.
So for everybody ripping Manning, just try to imagine for one second what this offense looks like without him today.
He's been in and out.
Odell scores a punt return TD but the refs find a phantom hold
Nice return...too bad Herz fucked it up.
Sullivan isn't calling plays. McAdoo is.
he held onto the guy and pulled him down with him
Incredible sack by JPP. He's awesome. I never thought he'd play football again, and he's been tremendous.
That's their season in a nutshell.
crew has been horrible today
Or, he is like Sehorn back there returning kicks. Remember what happened with that? or were you still in diapers?

Thomas was shoved into him def not on purpose. The holding call was correct. If your knocked down to the ground you can't drag the player down with you. That's a hold.
Clear hold...
You can't pull down a player after losing your positioning.
Wing and the defense are what we got today.
this is goddamn infuriating. Shepard doesn't even have a fucking target.
By the way, have we cut Wing yet?
Eli is having a real problem getting the ball downfield. We are also throwing deep too often.
Great punt by Wing.

Too funny!
So is the play calling
No 49ers juggernaut in the playoffs
Why does everyone have to get into his body in every play?

It was such a strange comment. He could have given up a TD there with all those Giants going his way.

Oh yeah.
As a fan i now watch the offense just angry. Its the worst use of talent i have ever seen.
And it makes no sense. Whether its coach, QB, both, neither... i dont care who it is but fcking put the guy in the position to get the ball. And maybe... just maybe go downfield with him and dont just use him for a decoy.
its just embarrassing
Same Stockton who said a play was good for a first. Oh wait. Eight yards short.

fuck off troll

Yes.....I don't understand the calls on the previous 4 possessions?!
Good timing,
Doddering.
Idiot.
Yeah! Why are you passing? We want 3. Not 7!
Doddering.
Idiot.
I heard that. I wonder if he gets fired like they do college announcers when they say stupid stuff like that.
Doddering.
Idiot.
It's absurd. They've been awful.
lol
...yes?

The guy is over his head. Offense has completely regressed. Can't move the ball against the worst defense in football.
lol
That TD drive doesn't change that opinion
seems that way
Music to my... eyes
shocker
8-3.
Yup, thanbk Gid the refs screwed that call up also
It's not quite there, but is ALMOST like listening to your drunken uncle doing color commentating after waking up from his post-Thanksgiving dinner food coma.

I wouldn't expect it to. Meanwhile the team is 8-3 with a coach that's "in over his head".
ANOTHER great play by JPP, but why is he still playing?
"That's an incompletion."
Cramps.
Ravens punting
Ravens snap to punter. OL holds entire Bengals DL. Punter runs around until time expires and then steps out of endzone. Flags everywhere. Benglas couldn't block the kick or make a tackle. Time expires, 2 point safety and no extension of play. Game over.
Oye
;)
For a blowhard like him, having the 0-16 Lions be on him you'd think would keep him in check.
Like, you could literally pick a grandmother off the street fresh from Egypt who never saw a game of football in her life and she wouldn't do worse than Matt Millen at putting together a team.

That is fantastic coaching. Taking a safety is smart in some situations.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK! ... obviously
Guy wearing a bag with 0-12 on it.
"Turn it around and it'll have a Lions logo on it."
Wonder if Millen kicks his ass later. lol
Ruled as a FR not a pick
;)
It's amazing that they haven't even gotten 30 points all year! Defense has really been doing the job. Thank goodness.
Sure didn't feel like a blowout.
I wouldn't dare call it that. (Hoping you were being sarcastic.)
Ugly. But a W.
