On the other hand, this guys whole style of play is launch head first.. of course he's going to get concussed again and again and again.. Jesus do HIM a favor and cut him.
And he won't survive until he starts playing with more caution for his own and others' safety. Don't get me wrong I admire his physicality and love how he comes downhill towards the ballcarrier but he needs to protect himself more and know when and how to deliver the hit.
I assume they will use Leon Hall before going that route.
But it's looking more and more like Berhe isn't going to be in our long-term plans. He simply can't stay on the field.
Agree... you cannot tie up a roster pot like that for a player who does not play in games. When he is getting the reps in training camp and in many weeks during the season, it really throws off the defensive backfield when he suddenly is gone. There is a lot of communication needed back there so when you have to work in other players it is not optimal. At this point, I would prefer to find someone who can stay on the field.
He hits with his helmet routinely...nobody to blame but himself
the guy that got injured getting an accidental head butt while standing on a play with bodies on the ball carrier(KO, punt?)? Or was he on the bottom of a pile?
If so,in either case, that doesnt bode well for him.
RE: The fact that he suffered another one so quickly
Was not his fault or being stupid but obviously the
last one he had was pretty damn bad and I don't think he
will see the field much this season and in reality he needs
to get out of the game before he gets worse .

Sarcasm at you Eric, but eventually they will need some warm bodies just for practice. Hopefully they can get back some o linemen and add a safety or two
RE: I like him a lot but he plays too hard and reckless for his own good
if the Giants place him on IR. And if they do, while they might well be prepping Hall to play there, they worked out a number of veteran safeties a few weeks back, I would think they will contact one of them and sign one.
He is better than Berhe, plays like a FS back there.
I wouldn't be surprised if Berhe winds up on IR now.
It took five weeks to come back from the last concussion.
That includes the bye week....may have to sign a JAG.
I don't think Leon Hall was inactive to learn the safety
position, they just felt better with Wade and now Sensabaugh.
When I saw him get hit live, I didn't catch who it was at first. When they showed the replay and it was Berhe, my first thought was that he should retire. The last thing he or the team should be thinking of right now is when he can return. his season should be finished and he should seriously consider ending his career.
Hall the safety position which is part of why he's sitting.
This is interesting. I haven't heard about this and i can't find anything that discusses. Could you site your source on this because i'd really like to learn more about it. Thanks.

Perhaps Leon Hall is next man up
He is extra crisp. That fork has been in his back since pre-season to be honest.
We need to bring in some body's for sure.
Well if that's true that's comforting..

Crossed my mind too. Kid has never been healthy. Can't see him on the team next year. Shame as they obviously like him but he's just always hurt.

So youre saying his return to dominance but on the backend is eminence?
This probably gives that kid they drafted in the 5th rd who keeps getting hurt a better shot at competing for a roster spot next year.

If Vereen comes back this year, I think Rainey is a goner.
He is the quintessential JAG, with bad hands.
I agree Big Al. I was thinking of Kevin Boss yesterday.
