SNF: KC At Denver

Trainmaster : 11/27/2016 8:52 pm
Didn't see a thread. I'll delete if a duplicate.

Not much rooting interest (I have Denver in my pick'em league). I think I like rooting against Andy Reid.

head here, if you are ahead by one point, the other team is out of timeouts and you have a clear path to the end zone, fall the fuck down, Denver could have run the clock down to next to nothing and left KC with no chance, I can't beleive that professional teams don't consider these things, unless your name is Brian Westbrook that is

Yep, you're right. That WR should have just fell on his ass, then you run 3 times, punt and leave KC 20 seconds or so?

I think less than a minute to go down the field and score the winning TD.

Denver's TD happened with 3:00 left. Let's assume the WR kneels at the one yard line, in bounds. Their first down play would happen at roughly 2:20. 2nd down play at 2:00. 3rd down play at 1:20. Kick the FG on 4th down with 40 seconds left. KC would need to take it down the field and score with no timeouts.
AJ Derby having a nice game

a tie is better than a loss

. . . yet not as good as a win.
Dumb decision

Kubiak's a dumbass.
C'mon Kubiak...

a 62 yarder? Do you think Jason Elam is still the Broncos kicker?
Dumb. Now you've fucked yourself over for seeding.

With a tie it's a wash.

That's why we watch!
Kubiak costs his team half a loss.
jogo1 : 11/28/2016 12:30 am : link
That's among the worst coaching decisions I've seen.
Broncos:
Overseer : 11/28/2016 12:30 am : link
big loss for them. Unlikely they win the division, so they need that 2nd wild card (assuming this game gets KC the first). Miami coming on strong and you know Pitt will be in it as well. I'm rooting for them b/c I want to watch Von in the playoffs and I think they're best suited to take down New England.

Remaining schedule:

Jags
Titans
Pats
Chiefs
Raiders

Great game. Kubiak a f'ing moron to try from 62. Just don't know what he was thinking.

This has been a really entertaining NFL season so far IMO. Lots of craziness.
That really was a dumb decision by Kubiak.

A loss hurt them infinitely more than a tie would have.
That was the perfect ending to a great game

I thought that Santos was going to bail out Kubiak for a second there, but the upright had another idea.
Awesome game

The AFC playoffs are going to be interesting

Still a lot of teams in it for the wildcard, and depending how the AFC West shakes out, you could have DEN and KC as wildcard favorites on the road against the AFC North and South winners respectively.
