Re-Watching the Browns game. I know he didn't make any game changing plays, But I did notice the Sheppard seems much more fluid, agile, and powerful lately than he had earlier in the season, where he simply was taking up space. I don't think he is by any means a great player, but I do think he has made strides this season and looks to be a solid MLB at least for this season, possibly moving forward. Anyone else int he scouting world agree?
I hope he forces Sheppard to the bench by Week 17.
on Defense if he has it's not been much...
Sheppard has stepped up a bit the last few games but he has
not been much of a factor and very few impact plays .
Maybe he does more with his head than with his playmaking .
I hope Goodson gets some more looks I think he would be
an upgrade in the run D ...
He's had limited action. But, he was on the D this week. If his role increases incrementally, a la Perkins, that'd be exciting to see.
Coverage? What coverage?
As for Goodson, only place I recall him making tackles is on ST's....if you can't crack this lineup of linebackers, anywhere, that tells you something...
You are dreaming if you think Goodson will take over as MLB anytime soon.
0 tackles for loss with those two tackles in front of him.
No bueno. Goodson must be slow to demonstrate growth in practice, so far.
I agree he may be an asset as far as alignments and play recognition, but the defense is much better with him off the field.
They don't have even one guy who isn't eAsily replaced. Not one
