Ultimately if you shop Amazon regularly you most likely have the website saved in your favorites on your device rather than using that link go through BBI's link and that’s it.

Not from my understanding...
My son has an amazon affiliate with his youtube channel and when people click on the link to see the product even if they don't purchase it that day.. or even purchase that product if they go back within 30 days whatever they purchase BBI will get the credit.
My son makes a killing with amazon. He has a tech channel and some guy bought condoms and he got credit.. lol
