He says they are the worst team in the division. Says Eagles , Washington , and Dallas are all better. Cowherd says they should be 4th in there division. Starts laughing that they beat Dak Prescott in his first game for Dallas...That's how bad they are.
You can watch yourself , I posted the link below. Curious what you guys think of this person?

It works....
Once they beat Pitt, all we will hear is how they just beat another team without a winning record. Pittsburgh will somehow become a terrible team if the Giants beat them.
You do realize the Cowherd is saying these things to get clicks right?

Well, duh! They would have lost to the Giants!
I don't care about the Rodney Dangerfield aspect, just keep winning.
Radars?
Except we have upside on underachieving O
and Eli better than Dilfer.
but he knows more about football than most of you.
Just sayin'
Cowherd doesn't have an opinion, he's stated publicly that he takes the controversial side for better ratings. Doesn't say much for the people that still watch/listen to him.
He starts asking why we were watching hockey and making jabs. Finally, one of the guys I'm with is like, "Cool, dude. Thanks for the input". But Cowherd kept going and eventually pulls out the card - "Do you know who I am?"
None of us did, so he said, "I'm Colin Cowherd. ESPN. The Herd." Same guy in our group was like, "Cool". That's the last thing we said to him. Funny thing is one guy in our group didn't hadn't even heard of him. And another guy was a former NFL kicker and all he said was - you don't see me going around telling people who the hell I am!
It is encouraging to me that they win while playing poorly. They win with young players who will get better and with a veteran QB who has not played particularly well yet, but goes on streaks when he can be among the best. The OL will get healthy and the RBs will improve with repetition. At this point my only concern is with the coach and the ultra-conservative approach on offense. That is where I see potential disaster lurking.
True.
The Giant's offense is scary, to Giants fans. It does say something that they couldn't put up 300 yards on the Browns. The Giants run game is non-existant, and they do make a lot of mistakes. 9 punts? Wow.
The bright side is that they have won a lot of games they would have lost last season and the season before. They have always played to their competition, so I could see them beating Pittsburgh, or at the very least, losing by less than a FG.
I like it. these clowns love shocking takes, they take a little bit of info and make teams either overrated or phony world beaters. They have done that with Dallas for years. The year Dallas is finally good, they can't give credit to anyone else. They're phonies.
In a sport like pro football to call a team frauds is about as obtuse an opinion one can give. And if it is to attract attention to yourself to make you look like a higher authority then he's the fucking fraud.
It works....
^^ This. It's called a "hot take."
Yeah, the guy with a million dollar contract and nationally syndicated radio show broadcast on a major sportsnetwork is irrelevent!
The eye test goes a long way, and the offensive struggles are hard to stomach, game after game, until they disappear for a series or two, enough for OBJ to perform some of his magic.
Someone above called our d "great" and compared it to the Ravens' d in our SB against them. Really? Our d has improved a lot, but it still cannot defend the crossing routes and good TEs on seam routes because our LBs, while improved as a unit, are still quite challenged in coverage and our FS position is, once again, up in the air.
Yes, most teams are flawed and not 100% sound in all phases, and we have more than our share of warts. It's not a giant leap to remain skeptical and still want the best outcome.
Granted, the competition level is about to rise, but I do not think this defense will be getting steamrolled anytime soon. Looking forward to Sunday, if you listen to the media you would think the Steelers were some unbeatable juggernaut. Absurd, the Giants can definitely pull this one out on the road. They could lose it to, but I do not think the Giants are going to get exposed as a paper tiger and get blown out of the stadium this Sunday.

The fact is these last 5 games will define this team. We win 3 of them they have to take us seriously whether they want to or not. Besides, it always makes success so much sweeter when it's least expected by those against you.
Cowher's Playoff teams...
In AFC, he seems to have predicted correctly on Raiders, Pats, KC and Steelers. Missed on Colts and Jets
In NFC, he has Cowboys, Seattle and I will give him Minn. Missed on GB, Carolina and Arizona.
not too bad...
As for Colin Cowshit, if you listen to the guy he is the most opinionated asshole I have ever heard, no pun intended, on the radio. This is the NFL. Lest he forgets that old axiom on any given Sunday if you you don't come out to play you will get beat.
To compare opinions Francesa's take has really surprised me with regards to the Giants. He sees a team that he believes for all its imperfections is ascending in that it is not satisfied and knows they can improve as they navigate their way to hopefully a playoff spot. So it keeps them from becoming complacent.
I fully expected him to lambaste the Giants for their effort against the Browns. But that wasn't the case. He likes what they are doing apparently, and feels they are having a terrific season and are a team that bares watching.
We all know Mike is cantankerous and opinionated himself but he sees something in the Giants and obviously would not characterize them as frauds. Which is stupid because you have to earn every win in this league. And that's just what the Giants have been doing. So for mister Cowshit, I'll see you in my vegetable garden next spring as I ready it for planting.
If the Giants really have a top goal line defense that is impressive. We saw how a good goal line defense saved the Seahawks from losing to the Cardinals and a few other teams.
I know the Seahawks all too well. They were "scary" in 2013, half of 2014 and maybe even a chunk of 2015.
What hasn't changed is their fight. They are unbreakable spirit wise.
But you can move the ball on their defense these days, even in Seattle. Not move the ball at will with ease, but better than what it used to be when top offenses would get embarrassed regularly in their stadium.
Wilson is ok and can make plays, but won't frighten you if you have a decent defense. Their run game is not as consistent as it used to be.
Saints, Dolphins, Bucs, Rams all made them look ordinary offensively. That's what the Seahawk offense will look like in January much more than what it did recently in New England, against Philly, against Buffalo.
One of the great things about football, a score and record is kept and as someone use to say, you cannot hide from your record.
My dream is, following the Dallas game, the experts are calling us the worst 10-3 team in the history of the NFL.
They didn't have to hang 300 yards on the browns. Doesn't that matter? In my opinion it most definitely does.
The Giants offense was good enough during this 6 game winning streak. That's all that fucking matters. Until the offense loses a game I'm not going to condemn them.
This shit is pointless it means nothing but it sucks that there's very little actual worthwhile NFL content on the air. I can get more from the hammer drunk Dallas fan in a bar down the street.
