He says they are the worst team in the division. Says Eagles , Washington , and Dallas are all better. Cowherd says they should be 4th in there division. Starts laughing that they beat Dak Prescott in his first game for Dallas...That's how bad they are.
You can watch yourself , I posted the link below. Curious what you guys think of this person?

Agreed.
I liked cowherd when his show first started, but it become real old, real fast.
I miss mike Francessa on yes lol
Just shoot 'em both in the face and the winner is anyone with working ears.
yes.
I remember him standing in front of the stadium, calling the team the San Francisco Giants. I thought it was just a mistake, but now I think it's personal with him.
Man, oh man, I do wish the Giants would someone to play fullback !
We are not the worst team in the division. That's silly. We're clearly better than Philly and probably better than Washington. The defense is the best in the division for my money. The offense might be the worst, but a better defense is more important.
Also, if we can get the running game going (and I think we can) then things change dramatically in our favor.
That's just the reality we discuss on BBI every day.
Unless they beat Pitt this week his point will seem to be validated right away; unless they take 3 of the final 5 it will be at season end as well.
That said, at 8-3, fans expect a playoff, and any major fade that knocks them out of playoffs will be that much more a disappointment on this season.
The O really needs to improve the way the D seems to have. The O owes it to the D for carrying them this season. Mc and Sullivan better find something that works: these 5 opponents can tire out our D physically as well as on TOP.
All that said, the NYFG sure are learning how to win ugly and building some swag. Confidence helps win games.
In any case, at the moment, their record indicates they are what their record says they are.
Giants are not as good as their record.
The raiders are the most complete team in the league.
Everyone is chiming in.
It's old already
up Sunday . Will the defense keep ascending or will they finally crack this weekend . Its a good test 2nd road game
but even if we do lose . We can make a bigger statement beating
the Cowpukes . Again a well put post ...
Kudos to J_Rudd that was too funny frick Cowturd
2 wins by 3 points
1 win by 6 points
3 wins by 7 points
1 win by 10 points
Anyway, Giants can only play the teams on their schedule. Not sure what Coward expects from the Giants.
"Total frauds". That's the phrase he emphatically chose. Let's be generous and concede that the running game sucks (it does), the Oline is suspect (it is), and Odell & Eli are overwhelming responsible for moving the ball on offense (they are).
"Total" frauds. Meaning complete, across the board. Has he not been watching the defense? JPP, Collins, Jenkins, Harrison...they are objectively playing great football (although Jenkins has cooled off a bit). Vernon heating up big time. And the defense is getting stops and making game changing plays...Collins v Rams & Eagles, JPP v Cleveland, the swarming Dline v Cincy, Hankins block/Jenkins return v New Orleans.
So he either doesn't know what he's watching, just utterly clueless. Or he's deliberately employing hyperbolic language in order to...
Oh fuck it...forget this entire post and just read my subject line.
We have one or two posts like these every month about what some radio guy said. If I remember correctly Colin was stroking his bone over Chip Kelly constantly, all day everyday when he was coaching the Eagles. His radio shows are so fucking boring.

The Giants were most intimidating when the offense with Eli and the 3WR sets were doing damage, like in 2011/early 2012. Defenses on average get stronger in the playoffs, which was enough back then for the Giants to beat teams.
Giants defense is currently good, but it will need to become top 5 shutdown IMO if the Giants are going to be a high level NFC threat in the postseason based on the current offense.
I honestly think the Giants biggest threat in the postseason isn't Seattle, but maybe Atlanta or another NFC East team.

Seattle is definitely a team to beat, not sure if they are the end all be all, but they have a defense, a QB that is very tough to bring down and can carry that team, a Tight End that could shred us, and if the running game gets going a long with a game in Seattle...good night most teams.
That is a very difficult team to beat and it kicks up a notch in Seattle. It could very well be Dallas/Seattle in the NFC Championship.
Though if the Giants defense continues its upward trend and the Giants can start mustering a better offense we can hang with anyone, anytime, any place.
bingo
I disagree. The best way to shut them up is to ignore them. Don't watch, don't click, don't retweet. It's a Cartesian thing: we look therefore they are.
As for some talking head calling the Giants frauds, who cares? The first three months of the regular season are for accumulating wins and filling airtime. If the Giants have been a relatively unimpressive 8-3 team, the quality of their play through November is now relevant only to the extent it suggests how they are likely to perform in December and beyond. Obviously, the offense needs to improve. Vereen, Pugh and others offer some hope on that side of the ball, and there's always a chance Eli will go on a tear. The defense needs to cut down on big plays. Maybe Adams will step up as he settles in; maybe the pass rush and the four bigger names in the secondary will cover up his deficiencies better. The more of these variables that break the Giants' way, the better their chances of making some noise down the stretch.
The whole "fraud" thing is silly. The Giants don't claim to be anything they aren't. Calling them a fraud is just a click-bait way of saying that from week to week, they haven't looked like most people's idea of an 8-3 team. So, in a parity-driven league, what's an 8-3 team? It's a team that's within a few bounces of being 3-8... or 10-1.
However, this Giants team is not well balanced and does not pass the eye test. I m not sure what kind of team they are. They have 5 tough games left, we are about to find out if they re frauds or
As for Colin Cowshit, if you listen to the guy he is the most opinionated asshole I have ever heard, no pun intended, on the radio. This is the NFL. Lest he forgets that old axiom on any given Sunday if you you don't come out to play you will get beat.
To compare opinions Francesa's take has really surprised me with regards to the Giants. He sees a team that he believes for all its imperfections is ascending in that it is not satisfied and knows they can improve as they navigate their way to hopefully a playoff spot. So it keeps them from becoming complacent.
I fully expected him to lambaste the Giants for their effort against the Browns. But that wasn't the case. He likes what they are doing apparently, and feels they are having a terrific season and are a team that bares watching.
We all know Mike is cantankerous and opinionated himself but he sees something in the Giants and obviously would not characterize them as frauds. Which is stupid because you have to earn every win in this league. And that's just what the Giants have been doing. So for mister Cowshit, I'll see you in my vegetable garden next spring as I ready it for planting.
Hopefully there is Somme reverse juju.
It works....
Once they beat Pitt, all we will hear is how they just beat another team without a winning record. Pittsburgh will somehow become a terrible team if the Giants beat them.
You do realize the Cowherd is saying these things to get clicks right?

Is go out and beat Pitt

Well, duh! They would have lost to the Giants!
I don't care about the Rodney Dangerfield aspect, just keep winning.
Radars?
Except we have upside on underachieving O
and Eli better than Dilfer.
but he knows more about football than most of you.
Just sayin'
Cowherd doesn't have an opinion, he's stated publicly that he takes the controversial side for better ratings. Doesn't say much for the people that still watch/listen to him.
He starts asking why we were watching hockey and making jabs. Finally, one of the guys I'm with is like, "Cool, dude. Thanks for the input". But Cowherd kept going and eventually pulls out the card - "Do you know who I am?"
None of us did, so he said, "I'm Colin Cowherd. ESPN. The Herd." Same guy in our group was like, "Cool". That's the last thing we said to him. Funny thing is one guy in our group didn't hadn't even heard of him. And another guy was a former NFL kicker and all he said was - you don't see me going around telling people who the hell I am!
It is encouraging to me that they win while playing poorly. They win with young players who will get better and with a veteran QB who has not played particularly well yet, but goes on streaks when he can be among the best. The OL will get healthy and the RBs will improve with repetition. At this point my only concern is with the coach and the ultra-conservative approach on offense. That is where I see potential disaster lurking.
True.
The Giant's offense is scary, to Giants fans. It does say something that they couldn't put up 300 yards on the Browns. The Giants run game is non-existant, and they do make a lot of mistakes. 9 punts? Wow.
The bright side is that they have won a lot of games they would have lost last season and the season before. They have always played to their competition, so I could see them beating Pittsburgh, or at the very least, losing by less than a FG.
I like it. these clowns love shocking takes, they take a little bit of info and make teams either overrated or phony world beaters. They have done that with Dallas for years. The year Dallas is finally good, they can't give credit to anyone else. They're phonies.
