He's been a player and a huge reason why the defense is as good as it is.
It really isn't that hard. Abrams can figure out how to structure the contract for the cap. And Tisch can pass a hat. JPP is a true Giant both on and off the field. He's overcome adversity more than any other.
He's worked his tail off to get (back) to this point. Whether we feel the same if/when he walks as a FA, who knows? Right now, it's a great story and you have to feel good for him (maybe GT not so much (: ). And it doesn't seem like he's being arrogant or a jerk now that he is getting back to fulfilling the talent he has. Hope it stays that way.
He was an idiot and has redeemed himself for himself, his team. In life, that's a good story.

I agree, no a hard decision at all. They will have their top dollar but we have the cap to make a deal work. He's far more valuable than any other soon to be FA on the Giants. Not even close actually.
I thought he was done after seeing the first pictures of his mangled hand but he has worked his butt off and is playing with a consistent sense of purpose and intensity.
Just barely mention of him, here after his terrific game.
He just keeps proving all the naysayers wrong; (or as Spiro Agnew famously said "nattering nabobs of negativism"). I'm very proud of JPP; way-to-go, dude !
They get a shirt.
I'd say it helps his cause when his next contract is negotiated, of course
Nice.
Our man is gonna got P-A-I-D in the off-season by...someone.

Believe he had a sack, forced fumble (and recovery?), plus a pick 6.
I believe he'll be coming up with another big play or two this Sunday. Maybe a strip-sack TD or a walk-off FG block to secure another Giant win.
Mack dominated. Won his team the game. Walk off sack fumble recovery.

still too early?
still too early?
More like too late. :o)
Fumble.
so the scoring kinda screwed him twice. The pick 6 became a fumble recovery, and the sack/ FF became a "pressure"

Agreed, Houston was a beast. Probably should've been co-defensive player with him.

A pick 6 or a fumble returned for a TD?
I scored it a "pick 3"
