Very Well Deserved

He's made so much progress since 7/4/15.

Does this mean anything
Rocky369 : 11/30/2016 9:48 am : link
other than bragging rights? Do the players receive any sort of additional compensation?
I'm stunned

Let's hope Jerry Reese takes care of one of our "own" and signs JPP to an extension

I'd say it helps his cause when his next contract is negotiated, of course

3 times we've had the DPOW.

Nice.
Thought Justin Houston
Overseer : 11/30/2016 10:09 am : link
(who was an animal on Sunday night) could snag the honors, but that INT TD return was too good to ignore.

Our man is gonna got P-A-I-D in the off-season by...someone.
Well deserved

When was the last time the Giants had three NFC DPOW awards?
Well
AcidTest : 11/30/2016 10:13 am : link
deserved. Congratulations JPP! Way to go.
Congrats JPP
BurlyMan : 11/30/2016 10:16 am : link
BTW he's worth a follow on Instagram. Posts lots of videos to stories, the kinda new Instagram video feature.
The Giants have a hard decision coming with him.
AnnapolisMike : 11/30/2016 10:17 am : link
He's been a player and a huge reason why the defense is as good as it is.
Houston was a beast
sshin05 : 11/30/2016 10:19 am : link
on SNF, but so was JPP, the return TD probably sealed it for him.
It is by conference
Deej : 11/30/2016 10:27 am : link
winners were JPP and Mack

It really isn't that hard. Abrams can figure out how to structure the contract for the cap. And Tisch can pass a hat. JPP is a true Giant both on and off the field. He's overcome adversity more than any other.
Thank Deej

Didn't know that. Only saw Mack clips (not the game) but he must have come up big cause Houston was terrorizing Denver all night.
So nice for him
ColHowPepper : 11/30/2016 10:46 am : link
He's worked his tail off to get (back) to this point. Whether we feel the same if/when he walks as a FA, who knows? Right now, it's a great story and you have to feel good for him (maybe GT not so much (: ). And it doesn't seem like he's being arrogant or a jerk now that he is getting back to fulfilling the talent he has. Hope it stays that way.

He was an idiot and has redeemed himself for himself, his team. In life, that's a good story.

Believe he had a sack, forced fumble (and recovery?), plus a pick 6.
The guy has been working hard and he's a beast
jsuds : 11/30/2016 11:10 am : link
out there.

I believe he'll be coming up with another big play or two this Sunday. Maybe a strip-sack TD or a walk-off FG block to secure another Giant win.

Mack dominated. Won his team the game. Walk off sack fumble recovery.

I agree, no a hard decision at all. They will have their top dollar but we have the cap to make a deal work. He's far more valuable than any other soon to be FA on the Giants. Not even close actually.
Give that man a hand!

still too early?

A pick 6 or a fumble returned for a TD?

Fumble.
Fumble
dancing blue bear : 11/30/2016 1:19 pm : link
and i think the forced fumble at the end (that wynn recovered was considered a pick)

so the scoring kinda screwed him twice. The pick 6 became a fumble recovery, and the sack/ FF became a "pressure"

Agreed, Houston was a beast. Probably should've been co-defensive player with him.

very happy for his comeback. That game alone will drive his signing price by quite a bit but he's earned it
congrats to JPP

I thought he was done after seeing the first pictures of his mangled hand but he has worked his butt off and is playing with a consistent sense of purpose and intensity.

Just barely mention of him, here after his terrific game.

He just keeps proving all the naysayers wrong; (or as Spiro Agnew famously said "nattering nabobs of negativism"). I'm very proud of JPP; way-to-go, dude !
