IMO, there's nothing wrong with any of it either way.
I would routinely unbutton my pants at my desk. I was project manager for 10 developers so there was no worry. We all know that women can't code so there was no one to offend.
but I don't think this even falls under inappropriate. I went to catholic school. If you didn't have the shirt tucked in tight you would hear about and you'd correct it right there and then. Between every class, you'd have a couple dozen kids making sure they look appropriate according to the dress code. So when my shirt comes loose, I re-tuck it. 99% of the time it's in my cube, but I wouldn't think twice of doing it in some hallway and probably have before. I've never had to undo my belt to do so, but unless you unbuttoned or unzipped your pants, I don't see anything remotely wrong. Hell, I've seen women many times re-adjust their button down shirts too. It's crazy to me that this would be an issue

That is one big issue I had with the last POTUS, intentional division and race stoking, then using it as an opportunity to advance government agendas. As we saw over the last 8 years he has systematically destroyed the democratic party to an ash heap that requires rebuild. Now we have the cry babies looking at the ash heap wondering what happened because folks can't just solve the problems between themselves without help from Mum.

I recall one of my first jobs in lower manhattan in the 80's. Grew up in VA, different cultural background for those that understand. So in my first few years there I would open doors for females when presented the opportunity, it was a default manners thing taught growing up. Imagine my surprise when I was greeted one day rudely and cursed at by another female. "You fucking chauvinist I can open my own door". So I adjust my behavior to just do nothing.... then one a different day and situation...from another female ...in this case not opening or holding the door..."What a fucking gentleman your are..."
Now it is like "leave me alone" unless it is my wife, daughter and women whom I know and understand or can get a good read on.
Again, its the social engineering platform weasels that enable this shit and outrage, otherwise I doubt anyone would make a big deal out of just random actions of individuals that actually have different viewpoints and ideals. In my humble and not very educated opinion, the idea of "safe spaces", "micro-agressions" and the like come from a very good, very noble place: That everyone deserves to be respected for who they are, regardless of differences- and that as a decent person you should do your best not to offend.
Unfortunately, on the extremes it has been warped into this idea of "meritless equality"- which instead of acknowledging differences (which include differing ability) and being ok with them, differences are dismissed and there is a demand to treat them equal...if that makes sense- I'm not always very good at articulating my point.
The simplest example is that of the gender wage gap, which exists for all sorts of reasons EXCEPT the one that is being fought against: that you don't have to pay a female the same amount as a male for the same amount of work. Equal pay for equal work is overwhelmingly the norm. Unfortunately there are those that believe that the differences between the genders that account for the wage gap (different types of careers chosen, less hours worked on average) shouldn't matter and that women should be payed the same regardless of those differences.
It leads to incorrect assumptions and perceptions that just aren't based in reality.
Now sure, there are folks on the fringes like you suggest that do have the "scared white man" mentality, but they're the fringe- just like the folks offended by someone assuming their gender is the fringe.
