NFT: Male Privilege or nah?
David in LA

Is standing in the hallway talking to a female colleague while you put on your belt and tuck in your shirt an example of male privilege? I didn't think much of it at all, until someone got triggered this morning. I haven't even had my coffee yet.

Does everyone here work at an office of 10 people?
Seems to leave you as someone who assumes all women have husbands, and decides to verbalize it.
Keep reaching. Reading obviously isn't your strong suit and that's no assumption.
This was your example:
You are talking to a female coworker and say: " will your husband be coming to the Christmas party?"
You have a female coworker you don't know, you're assuming they're married, and asking a question based on the assumption.
I agree this is idiotic, but probably not for the same reasons you do.
