It appears Klein will be scratched in favor of Clendening. Good job, AV. Klein's been struggling the last few games and as a veteran could use a rest. Time to get Clendening some burn!

Josh Jooris also might be a scratch. I'll post more as the info becomes available





Anders Nilsson is in net for the Sabres tonight so HAPPY FEASTING.

it would be funny/appropriate though if KK lost his shit given the fact that Girardi was not held accountable for such a long time for his play.

But all in all, good. I would like to see what we have in Clendo, who has been impressive in limited time. Of course I expect the worst -- he's now rusty as hell and will get one game, struggle, and resume his banishment.

Bold and uncharacteristic move by AV to healthy scratch a struggling vet. Klein's game has been so poor. I've been wondering if he's still got some back issues going on or whatever it was at the start of the season.

or we're looking at last season all over again. Girardi on the first pair is such a joke at this point. The guy is barely worthy of being in an NHL top 6 at this point. Hank looked terrible on that last goal but Girardi makes at least 3-4 misplays in one sequence. Just can't take it anymore
