superspynyg : 12/1/2016 3:07 pm
Well actually me and two friends have been talking about it for a while. What are some good hotels to look at? We are all married/or with someone for while. I would like to be close to things.

What should a good hotel room run me a night?

Thanks kind people
Just stayed at Cosmopolitan

the Venetian, but Cosmopolitan is awesome too.

Avoid older places like Excalibur, Luxor, even New York New York, etc. people say the hotel/Casino where you stay in Vegas isn't important because you spend all your time out and that's partly true, but the rooms are so awesome at Venetian and Cosmo (and others) I'd hate to be in a dump like Excalibur.
Love the Excalibur for the cheap craps tables

My Fiance's family owns a house out in Vegas, so i can't really provide any input on where to stay hotels wise. Is this your first time going out there?

Take one day to visit
Gman11 : 12/1/2016 4:39 pm : link
all the hotels. Take a gondola ride at the Venetian, see the statues at Caesar's Palace, see the tigers at MGM, the volcano at the Mirage, the laser show downtown, etc. You'll be glad you did. You can gamble any time. See the sites while you're there and then have a day or two to gamble.
Stay at the Wynn

Wynn is nice.

Was there in May.
New York, New York you can get for $30/night
gidiefor : Mod : 12/1/2016 7:18 pm : link
but it sucks -- so does CIrcus, Circus also $30/night on hotwire - also you have to pay a resort fee at both - it's about $19/ night -- make sure you check about the resort fees!

I really like the Venetian and the Palazzo - but they are muey expensive unless they invite you due to your player status -- then it is free : )

Haven't done any of the others

Go to whatever hotel is cheapest. As long as it is on the strip.

They are all about the same but prices vary depending on conventions/occupancy

Everyone goes out and walks the strip. You can gamble/party in whichever casino you want. Usually if you go down to the lower levels you can get free drinks.
Friends have invited me to stay with them in Vegas for a week

in Jan or Feb. (They rented a condo for two months.) I'm sure that I will be taking them out to dinner. Can anyone recommend a restaurant, as I have not been in Las Vegas in more than 30 years. It does not have to be super elite or super expensive, just good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Thanks in advance.
I just stayed at Aria, it was really nice - especially if you don't

want to be on the strip. Cosmopolitan looked like a good choice as well, went to a couple of good restaurants there.

Get a breakfast sandwich at eggslut - it was worth the line.
