Leslie Mann in The Other Woman
Kirstie Alley in Deconstructing Harry
p.s.-- The Other Woman is a really, really bad movie that I got stuck watching, this is not a recommendation. On the other hand, if you haven't seen Deconstructing Harry, it's hilarious. It's probably my favorite of all his post-1990 movies. And now that I think of it, the Woodman turned 81 today.
I kind of agree. She has been in some very funny things but she isn't really very funny herself.
Maybe she had a great agent.
I might be in the minority here but that show took a serious nose dive when Shelley Long left. It helped that she and Ted Danson hated each other.
Also, I always thought Leslie Mann's best comedy was:
Cheers also quite a record of careers post show ending (poor Shelley Long). Danson went on to multiple successful shows, Woody Harrelson, Frasier is one of the biggest sitcoms ever, Ratzenberg is a major player in voice over work (he's worth a reported 80 million...). Considering the post sitcom fates of other successful shows, very impressive
Skinny. She was hot in Look Who's Talking!

not even on Cheers, where an inanimate carbon rod could probably pull some laughs.

I thought it declined somewhat (losing Long and Colasanto so quickly would be rough for any show), but I thought they had a few good seasons. The Rebecca character was like nails on chalkboard, though. She apparently didn't get along with any of the cast members, in particular Kelsey Grammer who made it a point that she was the only ex-Cheers regular to not appear on his show.
Wait! Her ears are FUNNY. She wins.
