Interesting NJ.com Q& A with S/LB Eric Pinkins

Eric from BBI : Admin : 12/2/2016 8:27 am
FYI...
Giants swooped in and signed Eric Pinkins before Eagles could | 4 downs - ( New Window )
Interesting is right

He's confident and hungry.

I think we'll see him playing safety during games before the season is over, more out of necessity than anything.
C'mon, you know that's not physically possible.

You can't swoop while being asleep at the wheel at the same time.
"go get the ball"

please do so, and do it often
this dude's huge

he's definitely built like a Linebacker. the Seahawks gave him Browner's old number, thought he'd be a similar player
I guess he was making plays in practice.....

Yes! It's my opportunity to show them I can play safety.' I ended up going back there. Two plays later, (Sterling Shepard) was running a corner route, I picked it and I've been playing safety ever since.
Great

Actually

Pinkins is built like Kam Chancellor who goes 6'3" 225 lbs

Now if he could play like Chancellor at S, that would be something
Kam Chancelor would be a welcomed comparison

should Giants bring up Eric Pinkins from PS at Safety

Elite Mobster #32 : 11/28/2016 9:30 pm

Pinkins has been practicing as a Safety on our practice squad and disrupting the offense. Pinkins at 6-3 played both Safety and LB for Seahawks. Due to the concussion suffered by Berhe, he is most likely to miss some tme. Herzlich also left the game, with an injury. Pinkins may be able to impact the special teams, and back up Andrews and Collins. It's unsettling with Wade and Sensabaugh as the nickel going into the stretch.

Collins and Andrew Adams?

Are you going..
FatMan in Charlotte : 12/2/2016 12:27 pm : link
to start again with the shit that he's "disrupting the offense", or is pointing that out being a basic idiot?
Seems like a smart guy

And if he had enough physical ability for Seattle to consider him a CB at first, the safety position shouldn't be too demanding for him. Reason for hope.
Eric is the owner of the company

I'm wondering if you could share where you saw/read/heard that Pinkins was disrupting the offense. I would like to read the article as, I assume, others may as well.

If you could post a link it would be welcome. The other threads you created about Pinkins did not have one.
Yes I did hear of information on Pinkins
Elite Mobster #32 : 12/2/2016 2:42 pm : link
making an impact on the practice Squad by disrupting the offense. I will look for that when I get an opportunity. Also Pinkins himself describes in his article, a play designed to go to Sterling Shepard, that he canceled with an interception. He was playing safety.
Whats also intersting is that
LI NHB : 12/2/2016 2:57 pm : link
Pinkins was a teammate, fellow safety and draft classmate with Nat Berhe.

It's quite possible the Giants knew a fair amount about Pinkins while doing film study on Berhe leading up to the draft.

I like the sound of this.

I would assume that since you created a thread on this subject you'd have the information close at hand. Especially after numerous requests.

I guess posting on a thread created by the owner has an affect on both your ability to and the civility of the reply.

Well Elite
