The play calling is predictable and unimaginative. The one surprise gave the offense its only (non-garbage) TD. The issue, IMO, is not merely getting to the playoffs, but winning. The D is good or very good; the O is terrible. Where is Beatty? Is he really worse than any of the other 5? McAdoo strikes me as being as stubborn as he is unimaginative. Until McAdoo, Manning (who has no confidence), and the OL (poorly coached) improve, we'll continue to see defensive players fight for 40 minutes per game in losing efforts.
Can you imagine 'IF' Eli puts touch on the ball on the first INT and gets the easy touchdown? We then score 21 points total...
Can you imagine 'IF' on the fourth and short on the seven yard line, Tye doesn't drop the easy touchdown? Final score is now 28. Four points higher then Pittsburgh.

when it's tie breaker time, a loss on the road to an AFC team isn't the worst thing. If I had to pick a game they had to lose in this final 5 game stretch, it would be this one.

The pick thrown in Shepard direction is a touchdown if Eli has time to set his feet, being forced to throw the ball constantly within 1 of 2 yards of the line is scrimmage because of pressure. Eli clearly does not trust his offensive line, and to some degree, the playcalling.
The Giants offense has absolutely no identity other than force feeding the ball to OBJ. McAdoo seems like he is in over his head.

Many felt this was a 9-7 team yet i did not expect no significant progress from Flowers.
Has age caught up to the QB or are we on the doorstep of a real problem? He has to be better than this. I think there is more in the tank yet his age doesn't guarantee anything.
