Good news regarding @Giants CB @CotySense (chest/ribs). @sn_nfl has learned he's already back from hospital & will fly back home w/team

after JPPs 3rd step his right ankle hooked up against the Pitt right tackles then when he went to unhook ankle his body moved forward his right leg extended and the groined pulled.
I'll be glad if there isn't also a knee issue.
Snacks and Cody and anyone else, I hope theyre all OK. Harris ultimately looks like expendable.
He went down instantly
Hopefully not a complete tear.
Collapsed
That did not look good.
I had something similar in August. Took me right down. Manifested itself in the groin and was very painful and eventually started getting very sore on the outside of the hip/leg. Tore my hip labrum. Groin and hip injuries are a bitch. Mine still bothers me probably opting for surgery soon.
Glory Days : "Still better than a knee, which was everyone's initial concern, but it could still be major."
Not necessarily so at all: groin pull/tear is similar to hamstring, low blood supply and lengthy and tricky recovery, protocol has to be very conservative--it's a deep, thick muscle injury. Obviously, a complete tear or grade 3 pull of MCL or ACL would be bad, but to say groin by default is > knee, not so at all. JPP could be gone for several games, if not rest of the season. Also, very tough to "wrap" a groin to prevent against aggravation of the injury.
at a critical juncture of the season, really sucks! Hopefully, he can make it back by the end of the season. If we can somehow make the playoffs, he'll be needed. I also hope a guy like Okwara can really step up his game. He'll get some opportunities now. Wynn is useless on 3rd downs, but he might be useful on 1st and 2nd and so possibly a rotation there to replace JPP. I wonder if OO is going to be available? If not, do we even have another DE on the PS?

Thanks for the clarification.. makes sense. Lets him its minor
JPP says he'll get an MRI on his groin tomorrow. Not sure yet on status for next week.
Harris maybe, but is it worth it? He keeps getting hurt.

That's what I'm worried about too... It didn't just tighten up and limit him, it took him down and out.

Yes, Hankins did return.
