The Giants are 8-4. Yes...8-4. They played poorly against a team that needed the W much more that the they did. Luckily, Dallas and Arizona bailed the Giants out a bit this weekend. With two more wins than the teams chasing them for a playoff berth, the Giants are still in really good shape. Unless they get really bad news on the injury front, You would think they will find a way to go at least 2-2 to get to 10 wins.
They are lucky in that most teams also play like dogshit.
In the end, we are what we are, a legit wild card contender, but not a Super Bowl contender, and not good enough to win a road game in Pittsburgh in December
from losing and almost did today but the offense couldn't
put a drive together if there very lives depended on it .
WE will be Very lucky to get two more wins .
Right now we have a better chance of losing our remaining
games than winning them . You really still feel confident
that were gonna shut Zeke down this week ?
The Lions ? Skins ? ok maybe Philly on the road ?
There is something inherently wrong with this offense....after 12 games if it isn't fixed by now, it just does not look fixable....
Look past the record, this team is headed for trouble. If they don't improve, on offense and I don t see why we should expect that this late in the season, they will probably miss the playoffs.
With Pugh and Vereen coming back....the offense can improve.
The only reason I'm not completely onboard with that idea yet is the injury situation - if JPP is injured, then our chances to beat Dallas (which weren't that great to begin with) have just declined precipitously.
As to ledge, i did not believe we were going to win and said so ad nauseum. Many felt the same way. We even thought it might be a possible blowout..
So, NOTHING has changed, save for the JPP injury which could be big. Or not..
