FYI...
Pittsburgh Steelers 24 – New York Giants 14 - ( New Window )
Bogus holding call?

It was Flower's obligatory hold for the game.....you know it's going to happen during the game, it's just a matter of when.....instead of a first down, it became a safety....

and his motion penalty changed the 4th and 8 to a 4th and 13....
I'm a Giants die hard but there was nothing

bogus about Flower's holding call in the end zone. He got a hold of the Steeler's player's helmet and it clearly stopped him from getting to Eli. It wasn't intentional but it was a hold.
not surprised at the result. The Giants OL can't handle a decent DL

especially in the middle. Jerry and Richburg were routinely manhandled. Eli (though not great himself)said he was not able to get to his "2nd and third options"

* The Eli pick at 5-0 was a killer, but I still don't think they win if he hits the TD. The offense just can't sustain drives.
* The defense was valiant, but on the field WAAAAY too long.
* Eli Apple is the real deal. As is Vernon. What a difference since his wrist healed and he can use 2 hands. Loved the way he hammered Big Ben to the turf.
* Seems that Flowers is going to get a cheap penalty every week now. That Safety was bullshit. HARRISON was holding, had 2 fists full of Flowers shirt.
* Perhaps the 2 best WRs in the game played yesterday. One made some pretty plays and was a pro, the other acted like an immature jerk from the 3rd grade. Can you guess which was which? I'm tired of Beckham's shit. He had one legit gripe, the late hit. The rest is bullshit and has to stop. I was happy to see McAdoo pull him aside after the stupid chucking of the ball at the Steelers bench, which could have cost a 15 yd PF.
Are offensive linemen allowed to hold a defensive player

by the helmet and pull in order to stop his momentum toward the quarterback?
We missed JPP yesterday

we needed his overall play on the line to help control the running game and to add more pressure to Raplesberger.

If he's out next week, we're screwed.

Bad games:
Collins (which surprised me based upon how he's been playing)
Flowers
Richburg
Eli
McAdoo (cut the pussified offense and play real MAN football)
