Could someone please explain the logic here? We could still - RIGHT NOW - sign a FB off the street who could help us. McAdoo is running a cheap version of McCarthy's Green Bay O. Did he not notice how Kuhn - and now Ripkowski - are used? Role players - but absolutely essential to the attack.
Instead, after obviously planning to carry a FB in training camp, we are happy to change direction at the last second and stay in the same formation 95% of the time? Like it's no big thing to just scrap that huge section of the offense?
Eli even admitted last week the lack of a FB was limiting what they could do.
So, why not sign a FB? We really need 3 QBs on the roster? What gives? There isn't/wasn't/hasn't been anybody on anyone's practice squad, or any street free agent, that would allow us to continue with the full play book? Isn't that kind of a big deal? Moreso than, say, having Josh Johnson?
Two I have no idea how long it would take to implement one.
Right now the worry is will Justin Pugh be able to hold
up after the setback . Even then it seems more times then
most something seems to break down in any play that we
run . Were mired in predictability and no one has stepped
up in the passing game the rest of the skill players are
just not threats . Its easy peasey to defend the Giants .
Now the defense is begging to break down as well the
remaining schedule does not bode well for us even after
a remarkable 6 game win streak ..
Also, you do realize that the FB is basically being phased out of the NFL? FBs are probably used in less than 30% of sets
That I can say, the Giants got their butt kicked - Vikings & Packers (the Minny defense mauled our O-line) ..
The Packers' O-line let Rogers have his way.
Having a top-tier fullback IS a big deal, don't let nobody tell you different, and the Packers have one in Aaron Ripkowski. Here's his Oklahoma highlights.

In answer to your question, Vanzetti - Skins & Steelers.
I know, in our game against them, it took like 4-5 tacklers to get him down; plus he's a terrific blocker.
