Officiating

Section308 : 12/5/2016 8:31 pm
Why do we still watch this? It's been said repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity. It is the same thing every year, we sit through horrible calls. You hear your not going to get this call or that call in Dallas, NE, or Pittsburgh. Yet at the home games the officiating is just as terrible for both Jets and Giants. NFL has turned into the NBA/WWE with pre-determined outcomes. On top of this the Giants have the balls to send out purchase of playoff tickets this week. Been a season ticket holder since 81, and after the horrible calls in the 1st quarter in Pittsburgh, I have decided to sell my Detroit tickets and this weeks game will be the last I attend. If I didn't have someone coming from far away to go, last week would have been my last game. adios
Based on the ratings

Just want to add that the date and reasoning behind the playoff invoices is determined by the NFL for the last few years, as is the formula for which teams have to send it. So can't blame them for that.

I agree. I was planning on taking my family to the Detroit game but I don't feel like spending $500 for 4 tickets/parking pass drive 3 hours to see our Giants get screwed by the refs again. I can watch that in the comfort of my own home.

Officiating is killing my fandom and the quality of play.
I have been a die hard fan since 1950

These last few years have soured me on the game. It appears since Goodell has taken over, there has been an anti- New York attitude. Not only with the officiating but with the NFL network as well. Jerrah seems to be his buddy and he has set it up to please him as well. How often have the Giants opened in Dallas? You can bet that is because that's what Jerrah wants. After all these years, I can't believe I am contemplating not watching any longer. At this age, I cannot take the aggravation any more.
A vast conspiracy

against new york teams indeed.
I know that

a lot of either teams' fans believe the same thing so I have a hard time buying conspiracy. However I do know that if Dallas is successful the NFL is going to make a lot more money...
