Ok we are 8-4, probably better than most of us thought we would be through 12 games. We have 4 games to go and a shot at the post season, but let's be honest: Is this a Super Bowl team? Do we have the pieces necessary to win it all? IMO we would have to be extremely lucky and play much better to have any real chance.
It seems that most of our problems have to do with the offense. Left Tackle, Right Guard, Tight End, Fullback, Wide Receiver.....these seem to be the positions that most would say we need help at.
Rank the positions in order of priority. Between FA and the draft I would like to see us add a FA RG and draft OJ Howard in the 1st round. Will Johnson will be back next year at FB. I think Flowers is still young but will improve. A WR could be either drafted or we could bring in a Free Agent.
I like our team and feel we have a good shot at the play offs this year and really like the young player from the 2016 draft and the Free agent class that was brought in.

We need some inspiration and motivation along with improvement.
I'll be really happy if we get veteran OL and drafted one LT in the first,or a G in the 2nd, and the passrushing DT this offseason.

Yep. Last offseason they needed to fix the defense big time and they did that. This year they need to fix the offense.

This in a nutshell.
Yes I have thought this as well. Why can't this team get away from the spread/draw? I like high percentage passes on 1st down so you have 2 downs to move the chains or take a shot. Creativity and execution both need to improve IMO.
the 3rd pic I would go with a RB TE LB WR who ever is the
BPA at any of those positions .
unless a another O-line DT or DE pops up with better value
the focus must be on the Offense and or replacing a LB
Johnson & Whitlock are coming back.
Adams (see Perkins)...
I would love to sign WR-Terrelle Pryor during the FA period.
The offensive line must FINALLY receive the bulk of the major resources. We should sign the best LT we can get or trade for him.
Same with a vet TE. Eli just deserves to have a guy whom he can count on.
Draft priorities: 1st-OT/G, 2nd-C/G, 3rd-G/C, 4th-TE, 5th-TE/HB, 6th-K, 7th-QB
Vet FA-Pugh-2nd pick-1st pick-Flowers
Back-ups:
Newhouse-Richburg-3rd pick-Hart
On the bubble or cut: Beatty, Jerry, Gettis, Jones
Then a wide receiver, preferably a larger target. This is likely going to have to be a veteran.
Then a tight end who can block and catch. He doesn't have to be huge, fast, quick or anything special. This guy would preferably be a veteran. Basically what we had in Daniel Fells.
Another defensive end who can rush the passer. We have litttle depth at that position and this guy could keep guys fresh. Hopefully a draft pick can solve this.
Another safety and linebacker to compete and put guys like
Sheppard, Hall, and Herzlich off the roster. Behre and Thompson can't be relied upon so far unfortunately. This hopefully can be found in the draft.
After that if the rest of the team is kept or at least comparable players are brought in to replace the lost ones I think this team is very good next year barring injuries. The offensive line has some depth, the running backs aren't bad when all are healthy, we might have two keepers at TE and 2 options next year at fullback. On defense another pass rusher puts it over the top so long as there isn't a fall in play from the other positions.
This team when 100% healthy has depth at a lot of key positions and some big time players at others. The problem I see is there are a few places like TE, OL, and even WR where another player capable of just being an average starter at key moments is needed.
MLB
WR...and not a slot guy

I'd like to see the Giants target a FA OL, TE and WR.
I would go after G TJ Lang of the Packers, TE Vance McDonald of the 49ers. and WR Michael Floyd of the Cardinals.
In the draft, I'd like to see an OL, LB, RB targeted early.
