would be to put Pugh in at LT. He was playing great when he was injured, maybe the best guard in the game. I lamented their tendency to move him around. But Flowers is going to have a brutal go of it the last month.

I'm hoping that Pugh''s return improves the line play, especially Flowers, and that Vereen's return restores the offense to at least what it looked to be at the start of the season.
think the Giants will just send Newhouse to the bench. Even if they should have him replace Jerry, I doubt they will. They are 8-4 with this OL, so don't expect any changes absent injuries. Pugh isn't replacing Flowers at LT. Changes will have to wait until next year.
I don't believe there will be any changes (other than subs for injured players). Just like TC, Mac has areas where he is stubborn and refuses to change, his OL seems to be one of those areas.
I don't think you can do too much at this point in the
season . Pugh takes his old spot Hart and the others
stay put . I don't think moving Flowers even if Beatty
could play better is going to help with continuity .
If you move Flowers to right tackle what makes you think
he is gonna be any better there ? I think if they thought
that would work they would have already made the move.
Its not quite that simple . But then again they were hell
bent on seeing if Flowers game would pick up so they chose
not to bring anyone in to replace him .
To me they should have right from the get go but they
didn't bother even drafting any O-linemen thats the part
that bothers me . Then not getting anyone in FA told you
all you needed to know . They gambled and failed now
they are stuck with what they have . To me it looks like
a poor job they had no escape plan . Even the high round picks are somewhat questionable and there contracts are
all coming up

and then when Flowers come due we won't have to pay
him a Kings Ransom to play RT
Good news? I don't know shit (proven often over the last 35 years, I wanted Rogers over LT, wanted Sean Taylor over Eli..) so whatever the coaches choose that ISN'T my preferred lineup will certainly be better. :D
