NGT: Panthers streak continues

FatMan in Charlotte : 12/6/2016 11:09 am
The Carolina Panthers can finish no better than 8-8 this year which means that since coming into the league in 1995, they have never had back-to-back winning seasons.

That is a shocking stat for a team that has made the Super Bowl twice and two NFC Championship games that they lost.

with John Fox as well - he never had back to back winning seasons either with the Panthers or the Giants, then went to Denver and had 3 in a row.

but people really need to look at all the woes around the league and gain some perspective. Cardinals are no lock to be above .500 either.
He was a coordinator..

from 97-01 and we didn't have back to back winning seasons. In fact, Fassel never did.
Interesting stat indeed

The 2013 team looked to be primed to be a real monster in 2014 and just completely fell off for no apparent reason.

2015 Super Bowl, this season garbage.

2017 watch out.

Lol remember Carolina had a total of 3 wins in 2014 heading into December? yet they still won the division because they "finished hot" by winning the last 4 games and finished 7-8-1 or whatever the hell it was. How the hell does the NFL product come to this? Then they actually won a playoff game (vs Ryan Lindley).

I'm just so sick of them and the Seahawks. In 15-20 years I'm gonna have to look back and say "member those old school brawls every year between the Panthers and 'Hawks?" Ohhh I member!
That is quite a streak

Thanks for information. I assumed the Delhomme led Panthers at least had back to back winning seasons.
