I don't have a linked source. However as a person close to me down in Philly has said that he will eventually need surgery and is looking to play through it. It looks initially that he will be shut down for a few weeks.
Just passing on what I've heard. Don't kill the messanger.
If he can get out there and be effective in time for Detroit or Philly the latest, this is the best we could have hoped for.
Really can't be understated, but this is not a one-man team. We still have players and guys need to step up. I still expect them to be competitive against the Cowboys and think they can win.
I mentioned on the other thread I had the same surgery from the same Dr he saw today.
In a contract year, you don't take that chance....

You forget. Odighizuwa is hurt. He has a knee injury.

Are you an NFL player or just warm body?

Exactly!! I have more faith in Okwara being able to stay on the field more than O O. Let's face it Okwara hasn't looked that bad!
Totally agree, especially this week.
Spags has got his work cut out for him. I think he can temporarily find a way to overcome the loss of JPP as a pass rusher but his play against the run is gonna be awfully tough to replace.
They need to stop Zeke first and foremost IMO. No JPP makes that much more difficult and Spags will have to do some great game planning to make up for his loss.
Was thinking the same. now would a good time to go 3-4 with Snacks at NG Hankins DE Thomas or/Bromley DE Vernon OLB Kennard or Odi OLB Robinson/Sheppard and Castlias ILBs Hard to run on the 3-4.
Stop the run let Dax beat you.
But you force him to throw.
8 in the box, man up on the outside and take your chances with Dez and Beasley. My main concern is that Robinson is going to be busy with Witten who had zero targets last week ( his one target and catch was nullified by a holding penalty).
The thing I like about this defense is there are versatile players that are willing to take chances. Doesn't always work out but it makes it harder for the QB to make reads, there's no accurate early read before he has to deal with the pass rush.
Dallas's D is below mediocre, we can out score them. Eli lives for these match ups, if the ball bounces our we I think we can handle this.

That does not sound good. Would love to hear a doc's opinion (BB56?) on what this means, football wise, not just this season but beyond
get on it Gidfor

It will be an afterthought. It's a simple injury with a simple healing regime. If he gets offseason surgery he will be as good as new in a couple of months.

They also score a hell of a lot more points than we do .
With the way out offense is playing Hope is about all
we got . They also don't turn the ball over .
Not to mention 10 days rest ... While we are still licking
our wounds from the Steelers battering run game ....
But go ahead and think Dak Prescott is just gonna fall
apart who can also kill you with his legs ..
Color me pessimistic .
But hey we play well when our backs are against the wall Right?
