more time. Rookie year was a wash out because of injuries. Also played in a 3-4 at UCLA. It does appear he's been passed by Okwara, but don't give up hope yet. Need at a minimum to see what he can do the rest of the year. Question with him is injuries. His injuries in college caused several teams to take him off their draft boards. The Giants also wanted Lockett or Strong, but Seattle and Houston traded up ahead of them. OO was a fall back choice.
have had over 95% of snaps on the DL right? OO has had very few snaps at his natural DE position, and while he doesn't have many stats, he has recorded some pressure.
If JPP or OV were playing poorly then you might think his performance is terrible, and it's true that he seems to be losing snaps to an undrafted rookie.
Still a stretch to consider him a bust though. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do if given extended playing time.

When you take a guy that early you expect a hell of a lot
more meanwhile a UDFA Okwara has shown a hell of a lot more
I hope the light goes on pretty quick and the same with Bromley . Its the very reason why we had to spend a boat
load on Defense and we have plenty of holes on offense
to boot .
Theoretically, with JPP likely done until 2017, he should have an opportunity now at both DE and DT. Let's see if he seizes upon it.
