That jump cut is a thing of beauty.

More Perkins+Vereen = Fewer 3 and outs = More points.

Shane is back, I very much hope they use a combo of Vereen + Perkins with Jennings in later to finish it up.

But...
I agree

Perkins need to be in there more. Jennings is tough but Perkins reminds me a lot like a bigger version of Warrick Dun who was an elusive every down back and was hard to corral and that would frustrate a defense because just when they thought they had him locked up he managed to get that extra yard or two.
I agree entirely.....

if he got enough touches, I could see him getting 100 yards easily. He's hardly getting 5-7 touches a game right now. He needs to be given that opportunity, however, is this more stubbornness by the Head Coach or is the RB Coach holding back his touches? Perhaps Perkins is still not quite where he needs to be in pass protection. He has shown glimpses of doing well, but maybe he's not where he needs to be in practice.
Put me in coach

I'm ready to play, today.

I agree that it's time to move on from Jennings. He seems like a good guy and hard working player, but he just doesn't gain yardage unless there's a big hole and any running back can gain yardage when there's a big hold. He doesn't make anybody miss.
His

electric feet can compensate to some extent for the poor run blocking by the OL. Jennings simply doesn't have his "make you miss" ability, and since neither has homerun speed, why not start Perkins? The only reason I can think of is that Jennings is still better in pass protection, which if true, would certainly be a valid reason for starting him.
There is no need to "move on" from Jennings

That would be silly. BUT... Perkins need to be getting the bulk of the reps at this point. I'd love to see him actually start a game, and see if he gets into some kind of rhythm. I could see Jennings being effective still especially later in the game. He is a tough dude.
Play Perkins more
ChicagoMarty : 12/8/2016 10:04 am : link
but fit Jennings into a package where he plays FB and lead blocker for Perkins.

He can than be available to pass protect, catch passes out of the backfield and run short yardage plays

This would allow Jints to change Personnel !!!!! (Yikes what a concept!) on occasion and have two rb's in the backfield at the same time
Start Paul Perkins

that might work better blocking for the running game and a extra target for the the passing game I like that.
The issue

Is Perkins blocking. Jennings is a better blocker although against Pit. Harrison made him look silly. With the shit line blocking your either exposing Eli for a hit of sack with Perkins in on passing plays and putting him to n just to run tips the play off.
