ABG is decent but overrated.

And I do believe Harry Carson lives in the Westwood/Hillsdale area, as I used to go to the gym where he works out. Kevin Boothe recently moved to that area as well.

These threads end up having people get on soapboxes about how despicably racist this country is and recently, they try tying that racism to politics and "current events".

And David, while that alone is bad enough, the discussion is almost always slanted one way, and whatever is initially reported by the Media in events, gets parroted ad nauseum, even though those reports are inevitably shown to be flawed.

And some of it hits close to home. We are coming off a period in Charlotte where needless vandalism, destruction of property, violence and actually a death happened because people took an erroneous story and ran with it. There haven't been any apologies issued about calling the police chief and the force on the carpet, for calling the population racist and for lashing out with riots. Instead, of an apology, we've gotten a bunch of baloney that it is a natural reaction to the "current atmosphere" and that there "needs to be change".

Even this thread makes it out like we are turning into a country of sadistic racists and are "allowed" to discriminate.

Fact is illegal immigration and unfettered acceptance of refugees from dangerous places was a major concern for all Americans. Was most of it over the top, yes. "The rhetoric" was hyperbole (kinda like a senate majority leader saying somebody hadn't filed taxes in 10 years, which a total lie), the majority of which was toned down many months before.

I certainly don't want to be characterized as a racist, but still...when it comes to bannings, I absolutely think that your name should top the list. But it has less to do with where you are from as opposed to your inability to follow a fairly simple rule here.
