Anthony visited with the Santa and asked for a few things for Christmas. Weight loss advice was not one of those things, but that's what he got anyway.
Next up will be a kickstarter campaign to raise awareness for fat kids victimized by Santa, a sit-in to comfort those affected and a protest to support those hurt by this fatfuck running to social media
So what? God forbid kids get to enjoy childhood for a while before having the miseries of adulthood thrust upon them.
We slew Kris Kringle, Tooth Fairy, and Peter Cottontail in one HORRIFIC and fell swoop... lol. And I posted about it right here on BBI afterwards. I think my youngest daughter was 8 or 9 when we told her. The older one knew but went along without letting on that she knew - of course we knew that she knew and was just being a good daughter/sister playing along. But my little one still believed... she suspected and would drop little hints, ask questions... but she still believed. She even got into an argument at school about it which prompted the scenario: Finally one night she cornered us and asked [dun-dun-duh] the QUESTION. So, we told her.
It was absolutely PHUCQUING awful... horrible... TERRIBLE.
"You mean it's all a lie? You lied to us??
"Yes, honey, but it's not a lie just a fun little game that parents play to enjoy Christmas with the children"
But you lied to us! [The tears start streaming]
And then the eyes open wider...
"And the Easter Bunny? The tooth fairy?????"
Ugggh. I still cringe thinking about that night... lol
when the amusement park said he was too rotund to ride a particular ride. Or the airline wanted him to pay for a bigger seat. Life is not always fat-friendly. Moreover, kids are assholes, and even if you can get the human interest story people on board I'm not sure the kids at Warren G. Harding Elementary school will be so merciful.
Those aren't very good analogies. This is freaking Santa Clause for crying out loud. He can't say that shit...
So what? God forbid kids get to enjoy childhood for a while before having the miseries of adulthood thrust upon them.
My 9 year old still believes, even with 14-year old twin siblings who drop hints all day every day around this time of year that Santa is fake.
I enjoy at least one of the kids still finding some magic in Christmas. And she is such a sweet kid. All her letters to Santa are always mentioning how fortunate she is and how she only wants one present, but would like anything else he wants to give her given to the less fortunate.
unlike the other kids, if I find a way to do it I'll put the picture of one of my older kids letter to Santa at 6 years old. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
everyone else will quickly follow suit. We didn't have a eureka moment as kids, there came a point in time (maybe 7 or 8) where we knew, our parents knew we knew, and we persisted in the fiction for another couple years.
On this board and all over the country really this fucking nasty? What is happening to this country? No human decency anymore. The kid is 9 years old. Let his parents be the ones who deal with his weight not Santa.
Good god, this is a brutal brutal world right now. Everybody should just mind their own business, do their own thing, be a decent human being and raise your kids the right way. Sick fuckig world.

Yeah don't do what I detailed in my last post. I am still scarred from that... lol
with a girl who was hot as hell. Took me several tries to get a date with her. Right before Xmas break, we go out to dinner and she tells me about how excited she is to go home and see Santa. I'm intrigued where this is leading and it turns out her Dad drives to the woods, gets out and "gets" Santa.
Based on what she said, I'm figuring he goes in, changes into the Santa suit and brings a sack of presents back to the car, then goes back and ditches the suit. She 100% believed it was real.
I get back from dinner - dropped her off at her dorm and told her I had a ton of homework - and the first brother that sees me says, "So, you know why she doesn't date much now, right? Did you hear about Santa?"
Moral of the story is let your kids believe for awhile, but definitely nip that shit in the bud before college.
I'm throwing the challenge flag on this story. There is no way that this is true.
this is a new thing at all. It is just something that gets put out there for millions to read at the touch of a few buttons.
In the 60's, you had people calling other's "hippies" and telling them to get haircuts. In the 50's, nuns would smack knuckles with a ruler and tell kids that were acting up that they were going to hell. Girls that were promiscuous were made fun of by adults.
This isn't a novel situation. Heck, it was even a situation pretty much made fun of in "A Christmas Story".
It is just now that when a fat kid gets advice, warranted or not, it becomes fat shaming, a supposed news outlet picks up the story, millions of distraught Moms re-tweet the shit and you then have a National tragedy.

Which part? The part about the college girl believing in Santa? The part about Fats dating a hot chick? Or the part about Fats having friends?
Starts in first grade. I know this because my son was one at age 6 just a few years ago. He's now an 8 year old third grader and a Bear Cub.
What I don't believe is that a 6 year old was mocked by other 6 year olds for believing in Santa. I don't think there are many kids that young who don't believe.
I let my much younger sister find out about Santa on her own, but I did tip her off about the Easter Bunny. My mom was seriously pissed at me.
That looks like calligraphy compared to my kids' handwriting. I usually just fall back on the excuse that they're lefthanded and it's more difficult for them to learn

She is an excellent student and always was, but she is a pain in the ass. 14 going on 40. Can't wait to grow up, since the time she was 5 or 6. At 6 years old going to a classmates kindergarten birthday party she asked me to drop her off at the end of the street. and I thought I was the cool dad.
My wife was a den mother. All age groups met at school at the same time. Plenty of car pooling and interaction among the age groups, including his brother who was 9. I never said specifically they were six year olds that did the taunting, I said fellow scouts. JFC
On a serious note, it's not that guy's fucking business, regardless of whether he's right or wrong.
You might feel differently if you signed on to put a few kids on your lap for minimum wage, and along comes a 400 lbs. whale and plops himself down on your junk.
If I felt that way, then I wouldn't have taken the job in the first
So now instead of being insulted by just Santa...this poor kid is going to be insulted by millions of people all over the world because he is a fat kid.
John Condrey, the city manager of Forest City, told CNN in a statement that the Santa did indeed make a remark that he "regretted," and that the matter had been addressed.
"He apologized to the parent, the child and the Town," Condrey said.
Did the guy apologize as himself, or as Santa?
Sounds like he apologized to all. And to all a good night.

This legit made me tear up laughing, but I would have thought that would be a no brainer. He did say she was hot, what was the problem again?

9 years old and still believes in Santa? Seems like diet isnt his only problem.
Shit my daughter is 8 and still believes (3rd grade). So this is the last year, or in your opinion is 8 too old as well?
My kids went from santa to no santa between 8-9 or so, on their own.
lol
A 6-year-old Boy Scout?
Those aren't very good analogies. This is freaking Santa Clause for crying out loud. He can't say that shit...
Quote:
Remember well my son being mocked for his belief by his fellow Boy Scouts. He was only 6 at the time, so I guess 9 appears old to me.

Being mocked by a bunch of 6 year olds? I call tremendous bullshit.

Yes, more than one third of adults are obese. Really gross.

Easy there, fella? His comment rated a "go fuck yourself?" I want to see what a true insult rates.

Hahahhahaha.
Mic drop.
Ends thread.
Not to be confused with the actress Christine Ebersole.
The one from Bucknell was much hotter.
I'd give you more info, but I stopped stalking her after that date.
By the way, with people having fetishes of eating couch foam and hoarders in society, believing in Santa happens. Strange as fuck - but it happens.
That really just disrespected me and I feel awful!
I laughed when I read it at first a lot - thought it was hilarious, but my wife was upset.
At the bottom, which I couldn't get in the screen grab was a tear drop that said "boo hoo hoo, no presents for [my daughter's name]

My youngest at 9 doesn't write that well.

Have your mom go on TV to demand an apology! But you probably won't get much from me since I'm broke...:(
Well, like they said in It's a Wonderful Life, no man is poor who has frien-....ok, maybe you're screwed after all.

Lol mean. I know obesity is a terrible epidemic that needs to be fixed but my God, Santa shouldn't be the one doing it.

Tigers eat their young
No offense intended, just sayin'
