Anthony visited with the Santa and asked for a few things for Christmas. Weight loss advice was not one of those things, but that's what he got anyway.
I think half the time, the parents think it is to expose something like fat shaming, but there's probably a fair amount of people who think Santa is right.

I'm positive that when I was 9, nobody ever said "That really disrespected me" in response to anything. Then again, "then I started crying" I did hear a fair bit. Of course, that was usually because there was a punch in the mouth somewhere as opposed to being "disrespected".
When you think about it, it's only semi-unsolicited. They came to Santa. They came to Santa to as him for what they wanted; he merely gave them what they needed.
was harsh, he could have framed that in a much more positive way, like "I think you should have really asked for a fitbit and an rowing machine for christmas".
Depends on the lawyers and, especially, the jury. Speaking of translating into money, I wonder how much the attorney's fees for the mall and Santa are going to amount to. "I never felt so disrespected" = Mommy feeding the kid lines for favorable press.

I would think that he would be able to use duress as a defense in the lawsuit, considering he had to hold the kid in his lap for a period.
with a girl who was hot as hell. Took me several tries to get a date with her. Right before Xmas break, we go out to dinner and she tells me about how excited she is to go home and see Santa. I'm intrigued where this is leading and it turns out her Dad drives to the woods, gets out and "gets" Santa.
Based on what she said, I'm figuring he goes in, changes into the Santa suit and brings a sack of presents back to the car, then goes back and ditches the suit. She 100% believed it was real.
I get back from dinner - dropped her off at her dorm and told her I had a ton of homework - and the first brother that sees me says, "So, you know why she doesn't date much now, right? Did you hear about Santa?"
Moral of the story is let your kids believe for awhile, but definitely nip that shit in the bud before college.
John Condrey, the city manager of Forest City, told CNN in a statement that the Santa did indeed make a remark that he "regretted," and that the matter had been addressed.
"He apologized to the parent, the child and the Town," Condrey said.
Did the guy apologize as himself, or as Santa?
Actually, I'd think a college girl who believed in Santa would get

Sounds like he apologized to all. And to all a good night.

WOW. I'm still in shock about how someone can actually attend college and still believe that.
when the amusement park said he was too rotund to ride a particular ride. Or the airline wanted him to pay for a bigger seat. Life is not always fat-friendly. Moreover, kids are assholes, and even if you can get the human interest story people on board I'm not sure the kids at Warren G. Harding Elementary school will be so merciful.
Next up will be a kickstarter campaign to raise awareness for fat kids victimized by Santa, a sit-in to comfort those affected and a protest to support those hurt by this fatfuck running to social media
So what? God forbid kids get to enjoy childhood for a while before having the miseries of adulthood thrust upon them.
We slew Kris Kringle, Tooth Fairy, and Peter Cottontail in one HORRIFIC and fell swoop... lol. And I posted about it right here on BBI afterwards. I think my youngest daughter was 8 or 9 when we told her. The older one knew but went along without letting on that she knew - of course we knew that she knew and was just being a good daughter/sister playing along. But my little one still believed... she suspected and would drop little hints, ask questions... but she still believed. She even got into an argument at school about it which prompted the scenario: Finally one night she cornered us and asked [dun-dun-duh] the QUESTION. So, we told her.
It was absolutely PHUCQUING awful... horrible... TERRIBLE.
"You mean it's all a lie? You lied to us??
"Yes, honey, but it's not a lie just a fun little game that parents play to enjoy Christmas with the children"
But you lied to us! [The tears start streaming]
And then the eyes open wider...
"And the Easter Bunny? The tooth fairy?????"
Ugggh. I still cringe thinking about that night... lol

Those aren't very good analogies. This is freaking Santa Clause for crying out loud. He can't say that shit...

My 9 year old still believes, even with 14-year old twin siblings who drop hints all day every day around this time of year that Santa is fake.
I enjoy at least one of the kids still finding some magic in Christmas. And she is such a sweet kid. All her letters to Santa are always mentioning how fortunate she is and how she only wants one present, but would like anything else he wants to give her given to the less fortunate.
unlike the other kids, if I find a way to do it I'll put the picture of one of my older kids letter to Santa at 6 years old. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Mean, perhaps, but dead on.
All 4 sides!
On a serious note, it's not that guy's fucking business, regardless of whether he's right or wrong.

Exactly Chris. This doesn't translate into money for the family. It does for CNN though

Shit my daughter is 8 and still believes (3rd grade). So this is the last year, or in your opinion is 8 too old as well?

Yeah, how dare a little kid be a little kid! What a LOSER.

Not many relationships longer than a date or two, that I'll grant you, but plenty of productive first dates.

This legit made me tear up laughing, but I would have thought that would be a no brainer. He did say she was hot, what was the problem again?
