I can not believe tomorrow will be 30 years when we shut the redskins out 17-0 and we're headed to our first super bowl in Pasadena!!! I miss these times,

future ex-wife. We had met the previous week at the 49er game. Sean Landeta redeemed himself after the Bears game the year before.

What a day! You knew they were going to kill the Broncos two weeks later.

My favorite team of all time.

I was around section 331 if my memory is correct.

Lots of paper flying around the stadium...like a ticker-tape parade by 4th qtr...
An amazing day

I was 8 at the time. I remember the A-Team debuted after the Super Bowl.

I don't remember the games that well but I remember my dad and his two brothers watching it and being really happy. Funny how as a kid we remember the reaction of others rather than the thing they were reacting to

My dad and his brothers are all dead

Bittersweet thinking about it

for me with Dad and brother. Gmen beat the skins for the 3rd time on the way to the SB. Great times.
Remember it well

Cold and windy. Parcells elected to kickoff after winning the coin toss and I remember Washington having trouble punting into the wind, giving us great field position. I made my reservations to Rose Bowl at halftime on a pay phone at the stadium.
What a glorious day and season!

I was at both playoff games and even made the Giants highlight film that season. Went to some key games that season too. The first loss in Dallas when Joe Morris held out, the Minnesota game, Dallas at home, Denver, Green Bay. It was the most satisfying SB because it was our first and a testament to what we went through all those losing years. Of course all the SBs were tremendous.

Pounding the Skins in that game was glorious! All the kids at school had been talking trash leading up to that game, and they had nothing at all to say the next Monday.
I was 19 watching

at home with my father and brothers. A great day. I can't believe it's been 30 years. Sometimes I still regret not traveling back home from college at Geneseo to see the SB with them. However, I did get to see the SB with a bunch of whining cowboy fans in the dorm, so that was pretty cool.
