That's victor Cruz my friends. That's catches/yards/TD.....500 yards and a lone TD that came week 1. Yes I'm aware he has made a few clutch catches this season but those catches came when he was totally covered and Eli put the ball in the perfect spot. He isn't a 2 he isn't a slot receiver anymore he isn't an NFL player at this point. King and Lewis bring a lot more to the table and can play specials. Is it a foregone conclusion that we are moving on from VC?

Thanks for the memories(2011) VC it's a good thing you were hard at work on your post NFL career the last bunch of years.
well we dont know if he is a slot receiver anymore

Quickness is gone. I highly doubt the slot would serve him well. Think hard if you can recall a time where he actually had seperation. I don't mean half a step I mean actually getting open.

only one i can recall. where old Victor would have scored. He got blown up and fumbled after a long pass in the saints game.
My recollection is that, preseason, a lot of folks were expecting

600 yards was going to be acceptable although more touchdowns.

If he is willing to be the backup slot receiver and #4 overall with a commensurate salary with incentives, I say keep him.
