you can see why they are in a lot of games then lose at the end, they are athletic and play hard but when it comes down to winning they do not go to their offensive guys..

covington and embiid are probably their 2 most talented offensive guys, why no two man game with them?

there is a huge difference between ability and winning in the NBA. Partially because it is a game of runs and guys playing 80% by design (though less of that in the new NBA where guys dont play 40 minutes). So many NBA games come down to one team stepping up in the last 5 minutes and it isnt random. The veteran, gelled teams do it better.

Hence teams like Philly and Minnesota's records are worse than their talent suggests it should be. Because so far they lack the "closer" talent.

Also Im not following the Sixers, but if Okafor is physically able to play, it is criminal that he is not out there in 3 of 4 games.

Melo played as much defense on that possession as the last guy on the bencj. Jennings picked up Henderson and Melo picked up Mcconnell. McConnell dribbled out and took a turn around jumper and Melo stood and watched. Defend him all you want, but thats melo's defense in a nutshell. That was his guy and no one elses.
