Heading to the Garden tomorrow night to finally see the Knicks at MSG (bad year to pick, I know) and was curious as to what places are decent to eat near there prior to or after the game. I will literally eat anything, which is why I am so fat, all suggestions appreciated kids!
What did you have in mind? My favorite is Keens not to far off, but that's good for either a good steak on the steakhouse side or bar food (including awesome burger) on the other.

beer pub try Ginger Man on W 36th bet 5th and 6th.
Rosa FTW!
Couldn't disagree more - their sauce is way too sweet. They have a really good selection of interesting pies, but that's their biggest strength, IMO. I'd just as soon have Rose's if I'm staying in the Penn Plaza area, or walk a few blocks to Waldy's.
Lupolo review
L'Amico review
A reservation is probably a good idea for either.
Unless of course you pick a place that violates every health code law under the sun. Just don't pick that place.
Or you can go to the Hooters on 33rd :)

I know it has a bit of a following. I just find their sauce off-putting.
Lugo is a good call - decent wine list too.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Pennsy yet.
Did they move? They used to be on 30th.
Michael Scott beat you both already anyway

Well gee, it's great that he was the first one to come up with that. Of course he isn't on this thread so who gives a fuck.

The TGI Friday's on 34th and 7th is pretty nice!
