The former infamous #1 draft choice in 1971 had three touchdowns in his three year career for the Giants. Two TDs were on kickoffs. The problem for this pick was that the Giants thought with his speed he would make a great wide receiver. Unfortunately, he had bricks for hands. He was actually a running back. There was no need to draft him number one. He would have been sitting there in later rounds if we really wanted him. He was track field fast but not a wide receiver.
was the last time we had a playoff KO return for a TD? Ron Dixon against the Eagles? Dominik Hixon's PR against the Cowboys is the last PR TD I can remember. And that was during the regular season. Dixon and Hixon. We need more "icons."
The Patriots WR should have caught that pass.
Ron Dixon in Superbowl 35 is the last one I remember.
Forgot that one. Possibly because the Ravens returned the ensuing KO for a TD IIRC.
Dwayne Harris vs. Dallas is also correct for the regular season.
In a sport with so much money on the line. How any person employed to be an official for a professional football playoff game could think a ball coming out of a hit in the back QB's hands flinging forward 15 yards is somehow a fumble, borders on someone suffering manic hallucination.
and even without doing anything near that, you take a look at a dropped TD on a perfect toss and then an INT on a poor throw about 5 mins apart and those 2 plays are now the difference between this being a down to the wire game and a 15 pt game.
are, but if I'm the Texans I cut Osweiler in the off-season. He is absolutely atrocious.
crazy that the Texans are yet to have an above average QB.
Hell they'd sign for an average QB at this point.
Osweiler might be the worst QB in the entire league.
Leaving him in or even starting him tonight was inexcusable from O'Brien. Everyone knows how awful he is. He does nothing well, and most things he's downright awful at.
There are for cutting him, but if the contract is structured in a friendly way I'd cut him and go after cousins (as someone on the cousins thread mentioned ). It would be a huge upgrade. And with that defense they would own the south.
No question. He loved both Osi and Tuck in pass coverage during the 2010 Miracle II against the Eagles too. Oh, and don't forget JPP at NT will Tuck and Osi in pass coverage. That worked well, let's blame the punter.

push off.
Harris had a PR TD last year vs Jets. OBJ was also back to receive and faked out half the coverage.

I remember that now.
2 plays.
Or not. Wow, I thought that was an ACL.
Houston will have a superb defense next year with JJ Watts coming back.
Patriots vs Chiefs next week. Ought to be a good game.
Still don't understand how they signed this guy without even bringing him for a look/interview beforehand. Just a bad decision and ineptness by them

If their offense could score some points it would be a different game, wait ....where have I heard that before?
