My wife's three sisters, father and mother all moved to NY/NJ following us so need to go with the wife's family here.
And that's a good thing?! 😜
Unless they are playing the Giants, I will go with Steelers. When my FiL and BiL are over and Steelers are playing, it is LOUD. They both have colds tonight so am saving my hearing.
I remember Leveon Bell in college very well, and I recall him being a completely different style back in college. He was a big bruiser who sought out contact. Now in the NFL he is smaller, more shifty, dual threat, crazy patience. It's as if some other guy is pretending to be the guy from Michigan state
Why is pass interference allowed on a tipped ball? I don't get that rule but it seems like there has to be a good reason that I'm overlooking.
Once it's been touched all Pass Int rules are gone because the direction of the ball may be drastically altered resulting in players being called for it when they could never anticipate what the flight of the ball would be.
IE: a receiver runs a short route, the pass gets tipped and receiver has to come back to the line of scrimmage and runs up the back of a D-Lineman who has no idea where the ball is

Thanks, I always wondered this. Glad I got my answer.
He really wasn't that open, he slid between coverage for a nano second and the rollout let Ben have a great look at him. That is not a play that is easily executed
I'd take Antonio Brown over Beckham as well, but this Miami shit is ridiculous. I was more offended by the crap before the game with no shirts and "it feels like summer out here". That's not the Giants to me anyway.

The pregame posing maade it seem like they weren't taking the game seriously. No game faces imo
"New York Giants[edit]
On January 7, 2015, Boswell signed a reserve/future contract with the New York Giants.[5] On August 16, 2015, Boswell was waived by the Giants.[6] On September 2, 2015, he was re-signed by the Giants.[7] On September 5, 2015, Boswell was waived after failing to make the final 53 man roster.[8]

I 'm sure we recommended him to the steelers, given the relationship between the two teams.

It was lame, I thought Cruz would be the veteran to reel in Beckham with crap like this, but he was just as bad. I'll take Boldin on a one year deal to teach these guys how to act. I don't care if he is the 4th guy and catches 10 passes.

Overblown, I agree. But first of all, as has been said, it's a bad look. Second, going to Miami is not a big deal, it's posting it on social media when it'll clearly be a distraction is a selfish thing to do. When you do things that are selfish on your time off and then don't show up in the playoffs, you look even more selfish.

I agree with you, don't get me wrong. I think the pre-game crap played a bigger part than Miami though. I think Miami was ridiculous as well. This team missed an Amani Toomer type influence to keep guys heads on straight. Cruz really let us down.
“You fight all year, you fight all game,” Kelce said. “For it to end like that with the ref literally taking it out of our hands. That hurts. You try to play this game with integrity, to the end of the whistle, and when refs want to take over the game and make it their own platform there’s nothing you can do about it.”
“That wasn’t a hold on my boy Eric Fisher,” he continued. “Sure enough, I hope 72 doesn’t go through the entire offseason thinking that was his fault. That was horse shit, flat out. From there, we’ll go into the next season and try not to let it get into the ref’s hands, but you know they’re the ones controlling the game.”
“It sucks. This sucks,” he finished. “There was an unbelievable play call, last drive. Alex just drove us down there, fourth down after fourth down, making plays, making plays, momentum’s getting on our side then we just get our jugulars ripped out because a ref just felt bad for James Harrison falling on the ground. It’s ignorance. The ref number 51 shouldn’t be even able to wear a zebra jersey ever again. He shouldn’t even be allowed to work for fucking Foot Locker.”
Bell is fantastic to watch and the most dynamic running back in the game.
But I watch with total envy as seemingly each member of Steelers offensive line pushed back the Chiefs defensive line on seemingly every play. Bell capitalizes on it but he's at least making decisions as he shuffles along in a forward motion.
I 2nd that
Now I'm up though! Nice play calling.

Kelce and Tyreek are two awesome weapons to have on offense. They even make Alex Smith an interesting QB
And that's a good thing?! 😜

Good TEs make offenses go.
My choice as well
it was a good play by the defender on stripping it..extra effort

Eli would kill to have those guys on offense though, besides Beckham.
The Pats will take Bell away and make Ben and Brown beat them.
their defense and special teams some of the best in the game.
They went 12-4 and got a bye. Of course they are a playoff team. They just lack a franchise QB but are pretty good in all other areas
Rodgers and even Prescott earlier, fine, but no one should be watching this game and feeling envious of the QBing, no matter what the reason.
Pittsburgh has a shot if Bell has a big game and they control the clock
Pittsburgh has a shot if Bell has a big game and they control the clock
That won't be easy.
Very similar to our Giants.
yep. He is too patient for our porous line
Ha ha.
Definitely illegal. I don't know about dirty. To me, dirty implies it was intentional. Looked like a rookie mistake.
But two GREAT games tonight. Entertaining football for sure.
Put the flag away asshole.
in the first 2 pt play
Strange timing to throw that after whst they've let go all game. These are the calls that make people think the game is fixed.
This.
When you have Alex smith (who can't pass downfield really) and Andy Reid (who is never in a hurry), it is a lethally bad combo
there is a hold in every run back
When King scored for us last week against Green Bay, my Steelers friend was surprised we didnt go for 2.
How is he always free at key downs

It would have been a sack anyway so what's the difference
I'd back up the truck for Romo next year if I were them.
I don't know how he does it at 38.

PED fountain of youth. He looks like the fastest guy out there on the lines

watching the replay there was also an obvious hold on the 2nd attempt at the 2 point conversion but the refs let it go.

Bottom line: Steelers defense was good enough to limit Chief's offense. And, Chief's defense adjusted to Steeler's run game strategy too late.
