Burke SI.com: NFL draft 2017: Positional needs for teams eliminated in divisional round of playoffs 21-24
Code:

"New York Giants (pick No. 23)
1. Offensive tackle: The Giants spent a 2015 first-rounder on Ereck Flowers so going back to the well this soon after would be frustrating, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Flowers isn’t cutting it at left tackle, and Bobby Hart hardly has a long-term stranglehold on the right side. Adding to the need for viable options here: Will Beatty and veteran swing lineman Marshall Newhouse are about to be unrestricted free agents, if they’re not re-signed. The Giants couldn’t run the ball this year, nor could they keep pressure away from Eli Manning on a consistent enough basis.
Possible options at 23: Cam Robinson, Alabama; Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin; Garrett Bolles, Utah
2. Linebacker: It seems to come up every year that the Giants have not used a Round 1 pick on a linebacker since 1984, mainly because the Giants have been in need of a star at linebacker for some time now. They did get a lot of mileage out of their LB unit this season, led by Jonathan Casillas—he’ll turn 30 in June and has just one year and less than $700K guaranteed left on his contract. New York badly needs a linebacker capable of matching up with opposing tight ends, be it from an ILB or OLB spot.
Possible targets at 23: Zach Cunningham, Vanderbilt; Raekown McMillan, Ohio State; Jarrad Davis, Florida; Anthony Walker, Northwestern
3. Tight end: While Will Tye caught 48 passes during the regular season, his 8.2 yards per-catch-average isn’t scaring any defense. Maybe 2016 fourth-rounder Jerrell Adams develops into that dangerous seam-attacking threat down the road—he did post 14.8 yards per catch in college. In lieu of waiting on Adams to make that leap, the Giants could dip into a talented tight end pool this draft. With the amount of attention defenses have to push outside for Odell Beckham Jr., the Giants should be able to take better advantage than they do of man-to-man matchups vs. linebackers and safeties inside.
Possible targets at 22: O.J. Howard, Alabama; Evan Engram, Mississippi; Jake Butt, Michigan; Bucky Hodges, Virginia Tech"

Kosko PFF: BIGGEST OFFSEASON QUESTION FOR EVERY ELIMINATED NFL TEAM
Code:

"Will the Giants finally fix their linebacker corps?
For what seems like 20 seasons, the linebackers employed by the Giants have been really bad. Devon Kennard played well in 2016 with a season grade of 79.1, but being the SAM backer, he saw just 46.5 percent of the defense’s snaps. Jonathan Casillas improved in run defense this season, but continues to struggle in pass coverage, while Keenan Robinson and Kelvin Sheppard were two of the worst overall linebackers in the NFL in 2016.
Last offseason, the Giants invested heavily in their defensive line and secondary, but ignored the middle of the unit. This offseason, they would be wise to address that area—whether that be through the draft or free agency—due to the lack of playmakers manning the middle of the field. As stated with the Dolphins and Lions, there will be plenty of options, and drafting a playmaking linebacker would be the best choice for New York, considering that the Giants will need to extend Odell Beckham Jr. soon, and have a decision to make with regards to free-agent-to-be Jason Pierre-Paul."

Good guy, I like his fire but has it been so long that we've forgotten what a good Offensive Tackle looks like?

Hart is weak & slow-footed. He gets no push in the run game and completely shrunk against Brandon Graham in our rivalry game.

I am not eager to pencil him into the starting line-up. Let's find a guy who can run block and pass protect. Those are the job requirements.

Upgrades are needed on both sides. The NYG have the worst pair of OT's in football.

Sign Warford and Rieff, move Rieff to LT and Flowers to RT and voila you have a new, young, big OL.

Possibly, assuming he's right handed. It's a natural movement for a right handed/footed person to open up to the right, it becomes more mechanical when doing it on the left, you have to think through it almost. He seems to think and struggle with simple things and footwork is piece #1. If he's struggling with footwork you can start to correct that by putting him on a more natural side. If his first step is more natural the rest becomes easier. That's one argument no one really makes when discussing RT vs LT, they throw out the good LDEs and say he'd struggle more there vs the likes of a JJ Watt. If you have ever blocked anything or anyone as a right handed/footed person, opening up to your right is far far easier and more natural. If you have any hip/knee stiffnes as far as bending goes, you're cooked because you wont' adjust as quickly as you need to. I'd try him on the right and see what happens.

Never gave that a thought, but makes incredible sense..Not sure anyone has raised that..Feet? Yes..Right or left-handed? I cannot recall..
