I'm surprised USC never gave him a chance to play WR full time. If he has any chance to be anything besides a PR/KR in the NFL it's on the offensive side of the ball
with the needs we have on the line and at TE he would be an awful pick. He couldn't cover college receivers, what makes you believe he's going to be able to cover NFL receivers?

He doesn't have the reps at the position a lot of the other corners have. Daniel Jeremiah:

As a cornerback, he needs to improve his technique and eye discipline, but he has extremely quick feet, elite catch-up speed and outstanding ball skills. He is at his best in off coverage where he can explode out of his pedal and make plays on the ball. On offense, he can take a quick underneath throw and score from anywhere on the field. He is one of the best returners I've ever evaluated. Overall, Jackson will need some time to develop as a cornerback, but he has all of the tools to eventually succeed outside or inside in the slot. He should be a Pro Bowl returner early in his career.
He's been getting abused as a corner for two straight years now. Against ND in 2015 Fuller was running by him like he was standing still. He is a terrific returner but for whatever reason his physical skills haven't translated to corner.

Maybe the most dynamic return guy ever in college football. He is incredible with the ball in his hands. He's an undersized corner who MAY be a good slot corner though he never played there in college. IMO, he would be best as a slot receiver and used in some ways as Hill does in Kansas City. I have seen every play that Jackson has played at USC is there is NO WAY I want the Giants to select him at 23. Also, I disagree with Stan,Adoree is a real good kid and not a flake.
So did Godwin.

So basically, he's a lot like Devin Hester
Do you think some teams look at him as a returner and offensive player? Maybe a Tyreek Hill type on offense.

and hoping he can be a decent nickel corner.

Yes.
