Seems like they are going to take a deliberate approach to finding a full time coach so I think Weight does get the interim tag through season-end.

Worth noting on NYI permission request to talk to Gerard Gallant, it was made some time ago. Not hours/days, believed to week(s) or more.
Brian Compton at NHL.com followed that tweet by commenting that he believes if they were going to hire Gallant, it'd have been done by now. Fine by me as I again feel he's too similar to what they just got rid of.
Here's McKenzie from last night; a surprisingly decent clip: McKenzie on Capuano Firing - NBCSN
If the Isles go the "younger" HC route or via college ranks, I'd be interested to see what Travis Green could bring to the table, and from the college ranks coaches like Montgomery, Gadowsky, Pecknold and Motsko get looks.
They are going to be part of the interview process. Moreover, Snow won't be around for that hire.
Let's be honest here. Rumors have already been floating around they are looking at candidates for Team President. The owners are very aware Snow is an incompetent gasbag.
was supposed to be the guy a few years ago. Rumor was Lafontaine was leading a team of potential buyers where Ted Nolan was going to be coach. It fell through because of Wang.
I can see Lafontaine as GM. I see this guy Kreugers name pop up. Travis Green was another good one.

His team is struggling this year, but Sheldon Keefe built some strong junior teams in Canada

I like the idea of going after a young coach. A coach who will stress an aggressive forechecking system.
Next year should see the additions of Barzal and a couple of the young defenseman. I want a coach who is not allergic to playing the kids.

Changes are coming. Hallelujah.

Side note: Im looking to Strome having a better second half of year.

Nelson too

Strome and CdH apparently got into a bit of a fight today during a chippy practice.

Good. Two of the most unfairly treated under Capuano. Let's see if they get a new lease on life.
