Which is why a movie based on him would flub. Oh, it did!

John Stewart is a much better character to bring to life on the big screen. Idris Elba or Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr (Common) would be perfect for that role.

Even Guy Gardner is a better choice than Hal (Michael Rosenbaum would be a nice choice there, he can pull off being obnoxious, smart-ass, but likable). Ideally, you'd have both!
Well at least Cruise would be more believable

As Hal he has his a magic ring The Jack Reacher casting is such a joke. A 5 ft 5 inch guy playing Reacher. Ok.

So why do you watch them, then?

And if you don't watch them, why do you care?

And if you don't care, why read this thread and comment on it?

It must be hard work being an asshole about stuff you don't care about all the time. Why not invest some of that energy into something you actually ARE a fan of.
