Falcons offense is incredible.

if the Falcons offense
spike : 1/22/2017 4:34 pm : link
play all four downs instead of punting, they would score on every drive.

I don't know about a mile. But, Jones has one drop today and had made every other play his way.

If Beckham made his catches early against Green Bay the Giants may have blown the door off Green Bay in the first half as well.

tells you what is really wrong with our team

running game counts for balance - check
receivers need to catch football in big games - check
coaching exploits one of the worst secondaries (GB) in the league - check (this one really has me puzzled about our coaching )

Once Atlanta figures out how to stall Rodgers and this
could turn into a blow-out unless Atlanta goes to sleep in this one.

Yep and receivers that don't drop the football, many different plays, very few penalties by Atlanta, and the QB can sustain drives with his mobility just to name a few more things.
We can only
XBRONX : 1/22/2017 4:38 pm : link
dream the Giants offense was like the Falcons.
Rodgers is probably wishing...

Need to upgrade offensively badly
The_Boss : 1/22/2017 4:40 pm : link
The fact we couldn't do shit vs this GB defense is maddening. We don't need to score 31/game like Atlanta (or whatever it is) with our defense, but can we get to 24/25?? If so, we might be playing in this game next year.
Matt Ryan
spike : 1/22/2017 4:40 pm : link
never had such a dynamic offense even with Roddy White and Julio Jones in the past.

The playcalling and design are incredible.
All year long we saw our punchless offense muster little against
Jim in Hoboken : 1/22/2017 4:43 pm : link
subpar defenses that subsequently got ass-raped by better offenses.

This Atlanta offense is sick though, I wonder if our defense could've contained it a little. The two little RB's would probably get 150+ yards catching passes though.

can you imagine OBJ, Plax, rookie year pre-injuries Shockey, Tiki, Toomer and Jacobs together along with the 2005-20010 O-Line and (of course) Eli? Unstoppable.

Offensive line wasn't this good and they didn't have a two headed monster at RB. A solid run game is probably more important than having a 2nd stud WR.

Wouldn't classify Coleman as "little". He's much bigger than any Giants WR.

They are not the same team on the road, so I don't see them winning in SB

?

They beat the Raiders, broncos, Bucs, panthers and saints on the road. They lost to the Seahawks by 2 on the road on a non call penalty.

Julio is a monster
giantgiantfan : 1/22/2017 4:58 pm : link
This is pretty much how I wanted things to go after Green Bay knocked us out. Was a GB fan last week, but this week ATL. Rooting for ATL to win the whole thing.
Not good body language
JCin332 : 1/22/2017 4:58 pm : link
by Rodgers raising his hands like that...
Jones is
JohnF : 1/22/2017 4:58 pm : link
Megatron v2!

Again...look a the O Line for Ryan. Perfect pocket, plenty of room to step into his throw. And it starts with Mack at center!
The Falcons
LCtheINTMachine : 1/22/2017 5:02 pm : link
would have destroyed us at their place.

Still wish we knocked out Green Bay and Dallas even if we would have lost by this much.
Well this game
rebel yell : 1/22/2017 5:02 pm : link
sucks. Maybe the AFC Championship will be better.
so are two teams still going to
SHO'NUFF : 1/22/2017 5:02 pm : link
implement the GB O-line technique?
Expected Atlanta to win
Giantology : 1/22/2017 5:05 pm : link
But not to turn this into a repeat of the 2000 NFC Championship game. It's insane how much time is still on the clock.

I don't know about that...our D, when healthy, can match up well with any team. Our O is the problem.
Atlanta has no reason to go conservative ever
giantsfan44ab : 1/22/2017 5:11 pm : link
They're taking 5-6 minutes off the clock per drive and scoring at will.

This game might cover after all.
Watching the Atlanta offense...
EricJ : 1/22/2017 5:12 pm : link
I see such a complete offensive team. Julio could have been out with an injury today but this offense has enough weapons and the scheme to win anyway.
We would have given Atlanta a much better game than GB
PatersonPlank : 1/22/2017 5:13 pm : link
GB's D stinks. We would have kept it close

The game would be closer but in the end this version of the NYG would likely lose by double digits. Something like 28-17 or so. Those 2 RB's would have put a ton of stress on our LB's in pass coverage and I doubt we'd generate enough heat on Ryan to get enough stops defensively.
That was a holy shit catch
Giantology : 1/22/2017 5:18 pm : link

Julio Jones
