running game counts for balance - check
receivers need to catch football in big games - check
coaching exploits one of the worst secondaries (GB) in the league - check (this one really has me puzzled about our coaching )
Once Atlanta figures out how to stall Rodgers and this
could turn into a blow-out unless Atlanta goes to sleep in this one.
Yep and receivers that don't drop the football, many different plays, very few penalties by Atlanta, and the QB can sustain drives with his mobility just to name a few more things.
The fact we couldn't do shit vs this GB defense is maddening. We don't need to score 31/game like Atlanta (or whatever it is) with our defense, but can we get to 24/25?? If so, we might be playing in this game next year.
subpar defenses that subsequently got ass-raped by better offenses.
This Atlanta offense is sick though, I wonder if our defense could've contained it a little. The two little RB's would probably get 150+ yards catching passes though.

can you imagine OBJ, Plax, rookie year pre-injuries Shockey, Tiki, Toomer and Jacobs together along with the 2005-20010 O-Line and (of course) Eli? Unstoppable.
never had such a dynamic offense even with Roddy White and Julio Jones in the past.
The playcalling and design are incredible.
Offensive line wasn't this good and they didn't have a two headed monster at RB. A solid run game is probably more important than having a 2nd stud WR.

Wouldn't classify Coleman as "little". He's much bigger than any Giants WR.
This is pretty much how I wanted things to go after Green Bay knocked us out. Was a GB fan last week, but this week ATL. Rooting for ATL to win the whole thing.
Still wish we knocked out Green Bay and Dallas even if we would have lost by this much.
I don't know about that...our D, when healthy, can match up well with any team. Our O is the problem.
The game would be closer but in the end this version of the NYG would likely lose by double digits. Something like 28-17 or so. Those 2 RB's would have put a ton of stress on our LB's in pass coverage and I doubt we'd generate enough heat on Ryan to get enough stops defensively.

came to play
big time game today
Jones >> Beckham by a mile

I don't know about a mile. But, Jones has one drop today and had made every other play his way.
If Beckham made his catches early against Green Bay the Giants may have blown the door off Green Bay in the first half as well.
He is Matty SPIce today. Caliente!

Houston has a retractable roof, so that might work out for them.
just wow
?
They beat the Raiders, broncos, Bucs, panthers and saints on the road. They lost to the Seahawks by 2 on the road on a non call penalty.
A better version of Calvin Johnson
Again...look a the O Line for Ryan. Perfect pocket, plenty of room to step into his throw. And it starts with Mack at center!

This game might cover after all.
Atlanta's d would've feasted on our OL.
