2nd year in a row for Eli

He was also a finalist last year along with Anquan Boldin and Benjamin Watson (won by Boldin).

Couldn't be prouder to have Eli embody all we hope our children grow up to be, on and off the field.
His charity work is very impressive

Eli can't win any award except SB MVP's...
Greg Olsen

looks way too much like Stiffler...

Olsen reminds me of Ernie McCracken

Thank god Eli came to play for our team

Ever grateful.
He should win it.

Fitzgerald is the only competition unless Olsen is going to rap for his acceptance speech. That could put him over the top.

Olsen does a lot of work with both cancer survivors and this affected by HLHS.

He's also campaigned the hell out of this thing on social media and driven a lot of attention Nationwide's way by doing so, so he's probably the best bet to win.
Clutch time

And the pundits will still mock him for his aw shucks face
does someone have a good summary
giants#1 : 1/23/2017 11:56 am : link
of the different work these 3 have done with their respective charities?

TIA
this would be a nice award for him and the Giants
YorkAveGiant : 1/23/2017 12:58 pm : link
Id hate to see him lose it again. granted, they are all winners, but he shouldn't have to go every year while they keep finding others to give it to. this year...Fitz

Yeah I agree - as great as the honor of being a finalist is, it would be kinda shitty to make him go through this process for a second straight year without giving it to him.
Awesome

to have such a great person on and off the field leading the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS. Congrats Eli and hopefully you win the award this year.
Carolina had a WPMOY award winner in Thomas Davis 2 years ago

Peyton's won it, and Eli is not only a marquee name in a top market, but he is 100% deserving of the award. It'd be great for his HOF resume and the 'brand'. It doesn't look like a Giant has ever won... we (and Eli) are due!
Good point about Davis/Carolina.
bceagle05 : 1/23/2017 1:48 pm : link
It does seem like things are lining up for Eli. What's funny is they recognize the winner on the field just before kickoff at the Super Bowl - he'd get booed by all the Pats fans.
