Outplayed by Palmer last year, under 200 yards against Hawks in 14 and 49ers the year before that, an average game against 49ers in 12 and of course outplayed by Manning in 11. Yeah he's great but he's gotten a bit of a pass with now 5 years in a row of season ending marginal to bad performances.
A 'pass' isn't required.
and possibly the worst defense in the NFL giving him no chance
Do not see how you blame Rodgers here
Only two teams make it to the Superbowl. There's no shame in making it to the NFC Championship game.
I'd agree with you if he was won and done, but he did win two playoff games, and nine in a row up to this point.
Who knows what happens today if Crosby doesn't miss and Ripkowski doesn't try to pretend he's Christian Okoye.
haha true
I heard all week he is playing on another level. Francesa here in NYC saying he came down from a higher league.
Enjoy the golf course Rodgers.
His defense couldn't stop a college team today.
It's hard to have a great game when you're playing from behind the first time you even touch the ball and basically have to score a TD on 3 of every 4 drives just to keep pace.
The Falcons offense made GB one dimensional very early on and the GB secondary is absolutely pitiful. Their CB's are awful.
The odds were completely stacked against Rodgers.

excuses
he is from a higher league
A 'pass' isn't required.
That's if you completely ignore what Matt Ryan has done over the same stretch
What game were you watching?
Why?
They're circumstances. You guys are basically holding it against the guy that he couldn't singlehandedly beat the Falcons with no help.
It's pretty unfair to set the bar that high just because he's the most gifted QB in the league.

Matt Ryan has two very talented RB's. Rodgers has zero.

No, that's if you understand the massive gap between the talent that Atlanta has on offense compared to what Rodgers had to work with.

how the Giants couldn't even beat them.
Why?
Well it sure is disappointing but we just don't have the personnel nor the playcalling on offense
What game were you watching?
Yeah, he did..When the Falcons were up 37-7 he was averaging less than 6 YPA with 1 TD toss and an INT..He padded after that and still finished below 7..Last week he was terrific..
He has a converted WR running the football. Don't make up a narrative for the sake of arguing.
Well, any one complaint is more than Eli.
I get that some people hate Aaron Rodgers, but let's try to be rational here.

The packers are winning we don't mention anything about the talent around him. Because he seems to have a ton. And one of the best lines in football.

I will say GB has had a lot of bad playoff loses which is probably on McCarthy. It looks a lot like Dungy and Peyton.

he failed
better luck next year I loved this game.
Of that Perry Fewell

montgomery has more 100 yds games prolly more catches and more tds than our rbs I'm sure of it
What? Montgomery had ONE 100+ yard rushing game all year. Against the pitiful Bears.
I also think the biggest score of that game was a pick six by a nose tackle or something. Rodgers got carried in that title game and failed in his other two attempts.
Some guys rise up for the big game, others do not.
Thanks for beating the Cowboys though.
haha I understand it is a team game, I am just screwing around. Although, I do not know how anyone can say he played well today. We can all explain why but, bottom line. He and the Packers are going home. Hey, it is hard to win two titles, takes a REAL special player to lead two Super Bowl runs and win an NFC title game on the road.
You can't just pick and choose the games he's lost in the playoffs and say that he fails in a big spot when he's had numerous big games in the playoffs throughout his career.
Even the best QB's the NFL has ever seen have had poor playoff performances. It's not new. This OP is trying to turn Rodgers into a guy who can't handle the spotlight which is complete BS.
Plus they have never won a Super Bowl. First time for everything.

Rodgers didn't drop 6 passes.
Rodgers didn't fumble to be recovered by Atlanta in the end zone
Rodgers didn't not recover a fumble on defense that was right in his hands
Rodgers didn't drop 2 easy INTs
Nelson with broken ribs, Adams with a bad ankle, Allison with the hammy
Rodgers did have the flu this week
If you think this game was lost because of a poor performance by Aaron Rodgers all I can say is "I thought you gave up drinking years ago?"

At the end of the day. The Pack took the L.
Again, it is hard to win teo Super Bowls. Hard to win a road conference title game. Takes a very special QB and team.
We both believed Ryan would choke today.
We were wrong.
Falcons looked good, they were unstoppable and created their own breaks.
A worthy performance of the NFC rep in the Super Bowl.

I'm not sure of your point rocco. Rodgers is arguably the best QB in the history of the game. Certainly top 2 in the league.

No doubt, great player, good enough this year to lead his squad to a title game defeat.
I was just pointing out how difficult it is to win two titles. To win road playoff games as an underdog.
Rodgers stil has time to achieve that feat, some QB's already have.
