Chris Hogan

Bramton1 : 1/22/2017 7:32 pm
Just saw that Hogan spent two weeks on the Giants practice squad in Sept. 2011. How did we screw up on that one?

Go Terps is usually a good poster but he has such an axe to grind.
robbieballs2003 : 1/22/2017 8:21 pm : link
He was all over JPO and has never admitted he was wrong about him. He thinks that life is linear and once someone messes up that it will only get worse. He has never acknowledged that JPP has owned up to his mistake, has donated time amd money to hospitals for burn victims, and has done public service announcements against fireworks. He has been a team leader and really turned his life around.

Apparently, every human being must be fully mature by the time they hit the NFL and are never allowed to mess up. Life does not fit into a perfect mold but he feels it does.

You are a joke. I'm sure you would trade Beckham for Chris Hogan yesterday if you could. Get off my lawn!

I'd love to know some of the imperfections in your life, since you seem to think every football player on the planet needs to be perfect citizens to be successful. God forbid players all have different personalities. But I'm not sure why any of us waste our time with you anymore. You're a caricature of yourself at this point. I'm literally embarrassed for you.

Thinly-veiled? Look who posted that. He could've said that his uncle couldn't function properly after being on a boat because of seasickness, and it would still be a shot at OBJ.

To replace is lousy draft picks on Offense .
8 years you have 9 players left that were drafted
OBJ HR By far the best pick he ever made .
Pugh pretty solid has played 1 full season out of 3
Richberg is a decent center but isn't really strong and
big enough to be an above average center .
Flowers Big Strong and young risky selection that is doubtful
at this point to be worthy of a 9th round selection .
Hart who is young and shown some ability is not starting
material but could pan out .
Shepard looks like a nice player but more of a possession
receiver but fared well as a rookie Good Pick
Perkins is another good pick especially late in the draft
and Adams who looks to be the part but it will depend on
how he develops .
We have no depth at any position on the offense and need
probably need 5 starters so he needs to knock the draft
out of the park or Eli's Window will slam shut without
some serious talent on the offense and with our current
cap space its really not looking to good he has done a terrible job with the O-line and even the high round picks all have question marks .
It just Pisses me off the wasted years of Eli Mannings
prime .

Yep, from a talent evaluation perspective we certainly have not matched up with the Patriots. I think that may have been due to TC and Reese not really agreeing on certain choices. I believe that TC dif not want David Wilson who is by far the most overrated player on BBI.

You are correct in that we have a HoF QB and had a HoF coach but it seems that personnel decions screwed what otherwise could have been a more consistent level of success. I feel like our oline has been shit since 2011 and our defense was allowed to deteriorate until we spent 209mm on it. It is not that we did not try; it is that we makde some shitty choices.

They Colts missed the playoffs the last 2 years and failed to get Andrew Luck some help up front.

The Giants missed the playoffs in a 4-year stretch (double the Colts drought) and failed to get Eli some help up front.

Eli has dealt with common most of his career. Stupid post. It almost seems Eli does better with common. Tiki n Shockey go away, SB run. Most of Elis weapons havent had any success since leaving the Giants. its a BIG list, lol. OBJ is Elis first elite weapon. N he let him down. Hope they have another chance. Burress was the closest thing hes had. Guys have stepped up n had great yrs, but they were guys that came off the streets. So I dont buy the Eli dont make guys better shit. Christ, he made donnell look good for a bit. Along with harris n randle last yr.

Don't be so ignorant and righteous.

Clearly you're forgetting about Corey Washington and Thabiti Davis...... :)

In all seriousness, Brady does have a habit of elevating other players' games. It's probably a combination of the system, the coaching and being arguably the best QB of all time. Can't Brady AND Eli be good?

Regardless, my son thinks Eli is the best player to ever play the game - and he's 3.
LOL..

Has some skills but he was uncovered for most of it today. Pats could have put anybody in that spot with the same results.

Steeler defense was awful today. They let hogan off the line without a problem and run free into that clueless zone they played.

Nope. He was the third best WR in the sport and had one bad game in the playoffs. The other stuff is just off the field media fabricated noise, something you've said many times yourself you don't care about.

Beckham has set records in the Giants system for a WR in his first 3 seasons with Eli at QB. What would he do in another system, beat the records he's already set?

And I didn't see many Patriot receiver drops in this game either...

I could have delivered some of those throws he was so wide open.

Maybe you should be saying BB made Hogan look very good yesterday. That would be more accurate.

So you sent me a link that showed he had 38 catches for 650 yards all regular season. Thanks for proving the point. But yeah, he was certainly instrumental against Cleveland in a game they won by 40.
