First time the NCAA has unveiled a preview one month before the tourney
1 seeds: Villanova (overall #1), Kansas (overall #2), Baylor (overall #3), Gonzaga (overall #4)
2 seeds: North Carolina (#5), Florida State (#6), Louisville (#7), Oregon (#8)
3 seeds: Arizona (#9), Virginia (#10), Florida (#11), Kentucky (#12)
4 seeds: Butler (#13), West Virginia (#14), UCLA (#15), Duke (#16)
Regions:
East: Villanova, Louisville, Kentucky, UCLA
Midwest: Kansas, Florida State, Arizona, Duke
South: Baylor, North Carolina, Florida, Butler
West: Gonzaga, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia
Teams that just missed the top 16: Creighton, Wisconsin, Purdue, Cincinnati
That East bracket, if it were to come off, is insanely hard. UCLA is a 2 seed, not a 4 seed. I would like UNC and Virginia's chances although UVA would have to go across the country...
Damn it Indiana is not going to make it and Michigan state will smh.
Yeah, cause those guys shined when the Hoos kicked their asses all over the Yum Center with Mangok, Adel, and Snider all in the lineup. The first half of last week's game was the first time Louisville had held a lead over Virginia at any point in a game in two years. 5-1 against them since they joined the ACC, one of which was the worst loss UL has ever had in their building, and the one loss came in Louisville on a buzzer beater that Magnok would miss 99 times out of a hundred.
But yeah, I'm sure they would have totally made the difference.
